There's this weird psychological thing with fans of their teams across all sports where they think because they know their name, they have some kind of talent waiting to be unlocked.

I'd be getting those freshman pitchers a lot of minutes in the future. Time to cut bait with the likes of some repeat offenders who have all the promise in the world with over 90 miles and hour hurls, yet can't hit the side of a barn when needed.

I've been coaching or preparing coaches through univetsities for 59 years. A while back a stellar west Tennessee coach told one of my classes, "if you build your team on potential you will soon be unemployed. You build your team on results!" This baseball team is high on potential and so far, very disappointing on results.
