Let’s face it folks, LSU is under attack by a media blitzkrieg

It’s time to bunker down and circle the wagons as a collective, united front. We’ve pissed off the old guard media by poaching their precious faberge egg and now they want to submarine their program and stunt our ability to recruit.
Stop watching ESPN, FS1, NBC Sports, etc.
We need to rally as one and fight off these ingrates!

Well, we did steal media darling ND’s head coach while they were “playoff contenders”.
This is great publicity for LSU. No one is talking about conference championship games, playoffs , ND’s new coach, or anyone else’s new coach. It’s all LSU. Worth its weight in gold to have our brand out there. We went out and bought the best. When we walk into a recruits house—-hey, you saw us on Sportscenter—we go out and get the best. That’s you. Come play with us.
I will note that Saban and Alabama got hammered pretty good when he was hired. It’s was non stop CNS sound bite about “not going to Alabama”. Then he made the joke about the “coonass ditch digger” after the opening press conference. Very similar first few days.

I was glad to see a couple of the guys on SEC Now make a “tongue and cheek” comment about our coach running to the toughest conference in the country instead of running away from the challenge like another coach that is being celebrated by the media.

It's just the media trying to force something into the "bad cultural fit" narrative. Because no way an SEC school could poach Notre Dame's coach and expect to have any success.

I remember when they went around and made fun of Ed’s voice and even the field reporter mocked Ed 10 feet behind his back. The media is just a bunch of hypocrites.
