If I were to choose 1 post to upvote 100x, this would be it. Thanks for sharing!

Love me some Les Miles. I really wish he would have opened the offense up a little. One of the all time greats at LSU

Honestly have no idea why this comment has more downvotes then up votes. It's ahundred percent true statement regarding what Nick Saban did, and we all saw how that turned out.

Because as much as you want to believe it was the same situation, it wasn't. Don't just skim the surface. Totally different situation, conditions, timing, team make-up, and so on. As simple as football it, it is complicated.

A far better comparison is Jefferson replacing Lee in the first game.

That freshman year for Lee that he threw for "ton" of yardage against Bama? 13-34..like WTF? Did you count the four INTS also? I guess you can count the 76 yards of INTs to his total also, right? Oh year, INT in overtime...great timing no?

Life time vs Bama...Lee was less than 50% on completions. Lee never had a good outing vs Bama.

Throwing Lee in during the BCS game would have done nothing besides shutdown a bunch of fans Monday morning coaching. That is all. Lee did LSU well and I appreciate all he did and how he represented our school. But, Bama had this kid's number his entire career. Case closed and let it go.

Jarrett lee shite his pants when he saw that crimson and white

He tourched Bama the year before in the 4th quarter with the game on the line.

Don't think that is a good example nor a good game to build your case upon. He completed one good pass and did not move the ball much after.

Look what Saban did after halftime in the championship game last year.

Because Lee=Tua.
If Tua was 1/7 TD/INT vs UGA, Saban woulda been all in.

This is probably false.

And not saying Les got the year right, my mom can't even get her sons' names right, but we didn't play Tenn in 06.

Coolest story I’ve heard in a while. Les is such a character to speak with. I’ve met him twice, both times he was genuinely interested in our conversation. He truly is a good human being.

Sounds like he had the want to be an entertaining speaker in front of a damn strong class.

He’d do well as an AD.
Even though he has no experience with Athletic Administration of any kind, let's put him in charge of another LSU multi-million dollar business. He mismanaged the first one (LSU Football) so give him the keys to a new LSU car. (Athletic Department)

Miles Sycophants are just as Looney Tunes as O Sycophants. They're all MA's that are cut from the same block of Granite.

LSU/SEC is no place for on the job training. Thanks, but no thanks. I'll take Woodward or Radakovich for AD...…….

ESPN wanted Miles but I don’t think it went well when he tried it.
