If I was Woodward, I would file a countersuit.

Vacating those Wins, cheating, etc was damaging to a program that compensated him tens of millions of dollars during that time, along with whatever he made in endorsements or other income from being the LSU coach

Still can't believe:

1. Les thinks he deserves to be in the College Football Hall of Fame. This requires a complete and consistent body of work.

2. We won National Championships with Les and O. What a testament to those teams and players.

This isn’t going to endear the LSU faithful to him after the crap he pulled. I don’t think his wins should be taken away but he got caught. He needs to accept he screwed up and move on. He shouldn’t try and go after the university. Without LSU, Les Miles never would have had the level of success he did reach.

Had he not taken the Kansas job or had he won more than 3 games in 2 years, he’d still have a .600 winning %.

frick him. He has no idea what the NCAA would or would not have done to LSU had they fought. The football program got a slap on the wrist by taking the deal they did. That’s SOP with the NCAA. They could have fought and still had those wins vacated. The NCAA is not a court of law. They can do what they want.

It was under his watch that stuff happened. Pursuant to NCAA bylaws, that falls on his duty of care.

And what exactly are the monetary damages he incurred by not making the HOF? Conversely, he made generational wealth by being the coach at LSU

He won those games. Give them the wins back, or maybe it won’t matter. NCAA is gone in the future.

It was a lot of fun as a student

It wasn’t fun at all. It was the most brutally boring stretch of football I’ve ever tried to watch and most of my friends lost interest by the end of Les’ tenure. I guess watching some hardheaded Michiganian idiot try to replicate 1970’s football in the mid-2010’s while half the stadium slept through it was your definition of fun?

The Les fluffers never seemed to be able to grasp the fact that football is entertainment and meant to be enjoyable to watch. You never made more money or got better pussy or had a better life because Les was winning 9-10 games in the most boring way imaginable while it was obvious that he was never going to compete for another Natty or anything close to it ever again.

It was a waste of time, hurt the program in the long run, hurt our school’s brand, and generally sucked. Anyone who remembers that moron fondly is just as stupid as he was

I think Les Miles has dementia pretty bad. That's not a joke.

Maybe Sandusky has a case against Penn State.

Miles is a fraud and a moron. Flat out luckiest person alive. The year he lost to Ark and we still somefrickinghow got in, was like winning a worldwide powerball

College football will probably be a separate entity from the ncaa soon enough anyway so who honestly doesn’t count the wins

I don't really care about vacated wins, but Les Miles definitely does. He finished with a .5966 winning percentage, and a .600 winning percentage is needed for the HOF. He is literally one win away, and LSU vacated 37 of his wins.

honestly, I agree

winning with a retard at the helm (2x...) was hilarious though

Maybe he can sue Kansas for hiring him.

All those Kansas wins should easily replace the vacated LSU wins.

Spot on here, whatever your position Les owes LSU much more that LSU will ever owe him. Had he stayed at Okie Lite he'd probably have hovered around a few more years spewing out 8-4 records and been long forgotten by now.

He inherited a program that was elite and on cruise control as far as recruiting infrastructure - Sam Nader neve gets enough credit for the seamless coaching transitions regarding recruiting to where if you were half competent at all you land a top 10 class. He fell into a very, very good situation.

Don't care, still love me some Les. Hope he wins, I'd love for him to be in the CFBHOF.

Then I question your fandom.

Then you only watched after 1/9. If you didn't have any fun in the Lesticles era, that's a you problem.
