I’ve read several people mentioning he was having health issues, but no details. He was a goofball but definitely made things interesting for Tiger fans for a number of years. Best wishes for the Mad Hatter!

Can only wish Les the best. Stubborn as hell but there wasn’t a single game that he didn’t have his team prepared. I mean seriously, you knew we had a good chance of winning every game he coached….for whatever reason. His players played hard for him. Yep, some didn’t go our way and he pissed us off but he was a fun coach at LSU. The dude ate grass…com’on.

Can’t say the same for BK.

Hate to see a guy with such a bigger-than-life personality be reduced to that.

damn, those photos were tough to see.

i agree with the others. lane/lsu needs to get him to game next year if at all possible. clemson would be cool. big time opponent week one/two was the best version of les miles football.

He probably suffered concussions when he played at Michigan.

Dang that’s tough to see. I matched with Smacker on a dating app in Dallas less than 2 years ago. That girl moves fast!

I’ve posted this pic twice and it was removed both times. He has some serious cognitive health issues. Kathy and the kids have done everything they can to keep it in house and to not have people disparage what time he has left.

Les took a lot of head hits as a player, those hits can speed up the process of Alzheimer’s early on in later age.

Hope he is ok, he made football interesting and tough at LSU.

Wishing the best for Les. He had flaws, but he's a real one.

Les is arguably the greatest coach in LSU history, even with his shortcomings. Lots of great memories. Hope all is well for The Mad Hatter

I will beat this drum until it happens or isn't possible anymore.

LSU needs to have him, Saban, amd Ed together at some point in time. Im sure it won't be the easiest thing to do, but failing to do so would be a massive missed opportunity.

Yeah, I’ve seen that too, lots of mentions of health issues but nothing concrete. Whatever the details, he brought personality and entertainment to Tiger fandom. Wishing him well.

Is this a fact or are you using the only dementia term you know?

Unless you have proof, that is damned cruel, immature, uneducated thing to say. Think of your own parents when writing that.
