What pisses me off is Alleva taking heat for LA bull pussy arse political shite. Alleva played his AD card perfectly and got shite on.

I want to win big so it gets hard seeing an offense that can't complete a forward pass
This Offense worked pretty well with Mettenberger.
It would have been light years more effective and efficient with Swag Kelly throwing it around and handing off to Fournette!

A member of the team told me last year that Miles was out and the team knew it. That is why his family went on the field with him during pregame and the team carried him off the field after the win

Sounds reasonable until Pelleni as defensive coordinator. Fisher would have brought his own guy from FSU. The nut job would not have been a part of the staff.

We may never know, but my opinion based on what we do know is...
-Miles was being fired, and had been informed as much
-Jimbo to LSU was a done deal
-F King caved to political pressure and nixed the deal
F King needed to be fired prior to this fiasco, and any doubt remaining went out the window with his handling of this situation and inappropriate mettling in something he had no business getting involved in. F King Alexander is an embarrassment to LSU and will not be here much longer.
Everyone blames Alleva, but the problem is not Alleva... The problem is that F King doesn't let Alleva do his job.
All that said, It is what it is, and we're moving on. You can take it to the bank, though, Jimbo Fisher will be LSUs next coach, whether 2017 or 2019, he will be LSUs next football coach barring scandal at FSU.

So this is how LSU rolls? shite on the best coach LSU has had before the season is over. frick that. Alleva just needed to follow his own words, make decision at end of season. If any of this is true, then they didn't and Alleva stood there and lied to the entire fan base.

The guy that changes assistants contracts and handcuffs the current coach in hiring a new one deserves to be shite on. He sabotaged the football program. frick Alleva.

Well when the current coach done had too many mess ups, so be it.

Then its wasnt a done deal.
Done deals cant be stopped. If it can be stopped then its not a done deal.
Done deal is signed contracts.

So I was speaking with one of our corporate lawyers today and he had an interesting story regarding the botched Les Miles situation. He said his brother works as an attorney in the Law Office that takes care of LSU's contracts. He said Les Miles was informed the morning of the game, win or lose he would be fired
Wouldn't this be a violation of attorney-client privilege, and extremely bad for the firm? (which from the information provided, would be easy to find).
Seems like a good way to be out of a job

FWIW, we must have the same source, as I remember hearing all of this when it was going down.

King agreed to the deal with Fisher and parties.
Negotiations went on for several weeks.
He had to Let go of Miles first. Then they would announce it.
They advised Les they were going in a different direction and it was his last game at tiger stadium.
His whole family came to see him.
KING GOT COLD FEET before the game and then during the 3rd quarter and he told alleva that Les could keep his job!
Les was emotional and surprised.
King and the AD hung him out to dry.
King didnt realize the cost to get rid of the coach and he needed to look good for the politcans.
He needed to make LSU look poor for the public.

Yup, politics > football success to F King.
He's a political hack first, university president second.

There is no reason the team would have carried him off the field with his full family in attendance unless the players and coaches all believed it to be his last game and a goodbye, we love you gesture.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, including F King being a problem. But Alleva has been planning this since since at least 2014. Look at the Chavis situation.

The supposed Jimbo deal, if there ever really was one, had already fallen apart before the A&M game, that was basically common knowledge at that point.
Define "common knowledge" because I didn't hear one person mention a thing like that. If there was something that fell apart, it must've fallen apart 30 seconds before kickoff because there is no way you let things go that far unless you have a big name in place. There would be no reason to handle that situation so horribly other than something falling apart that day at the last second because all attention was focused on the coaching position.

Jimbo Fisher was never coming to LSU
