Your shoulder blade is on your back area. I suppose he could've had cramping around his shoulder blade, on his throwing arm. That would make all of these reports technically accurate.

If you know anything about Lanes weekly preparation, they go full speed fridays before games. It’s unorthodox. But when you go full speed the day most people go walk through, the logical day to rest would be the Wednesday leading up to the game.

Seems to me like yesterday was scheduled rest and Lane took the opportunity to put them on the injury report under the guise of "well they didn't practice."

Thank God it wasn’t tonsillitis! He would have been out all year!

I can’t imagine something dumber than practicing on a Thursday if back spasms is what’s making you doubtful.

He probably learned this from Bill Belichick. Tom Brady was listed on the injury report 186 times.
Never once missed a game.

I'm not saying Matt is the best, but I definitely think he gets way too much hate around here. There's no doubt that the dude loves LSU, and more often than not he has good info.

So ice, heat, ibuprofen, and some stretching and he should be able to rock ‘n’ roll Saturday night and whoop some rebel arse

Yeah I'm having a hard time believing he was really doubtful. He's obviously dealing with some discomfort, but how much is the question.

Why would back spasm on Wednesday make you doubtful for Saturday? This walk-through doesn't mean anything. It's a walk-through. However this report that it was just back spasms is significant. But it still remains the question, why would that list him as doubtful?
Questionable at most I would think

He's hurt, man. Probably out for the season. Ole Miss should get ready for the other QB.

From experience I can tell you that back spasms are very painful.

Lane just doing all us degens a solid to make sure the point spread dipped below 3.
