Nothing but class till the end, like Les Miles. Wish they were better coaches, because they are great reps for LSU.

nicely said.

I wish some of the posters taking unnecessary shots at Coach Jones would have similar class.

I'm sure Johnny was the one who really tweeted that out. He's got some student sending that stuff out.

I feel for him. He looked like he was on the verge of tears shaking hands at the end of our last game. I can't imagine the feeling he has right now.

good guys do win... you can be a good guy off the court but you have to have some nastiness during practice to get kids to respond. In some ways coaching is like parenting. Being an a-hole and discipline is for the kids it's nothing personal.

Right. And this is why I was floored when I saw members wanting to give him the kiffin treatment.

In fairness, comma splices are an epidemic and the failure to use commas is rapidly destroying communities.

I hope the next coach addresses this issue immediately.

I can't really even say anything bad about him anymore. It's not his fault we hired someone who just wasn't any good

Its not fair that JJ is a millionaire for being a terrible coach.

"unnecessary"??? Jones is a poor coach and deserving of the criticism. He makes a 7-figure salary to put a quality product on the floor, and when that doesn't happen, he's going to take heat.

But I don't think I've seen anyone on this board say Jones is a bad person or a bad reflection on the university. All the criticism has been limited to his coaching ability.
