Tulane in 1986 I believe

I don't think LSU lost to Tulane in 86. It would be earlier...81 maybe in the dome? I was there, was brutal

Tulane in 1982 in Tiger Stadium was a loss.

Maybe so I'm almost positive it was Tulane tho

Tulane, 1982, a week after dismantling Florida State, 55-21 and earning an Orange Bowl berth.

We were in control until we tried to block a punt, missed, and roughed the punter. After that, we fell apart and lost to an inferior team.

I sat in the rain and watched that game. Miserable.

I did too. Sad way for the Dalton-James gang to go out against Tulane.

I actually kinda miss Tulane being relevant, especially in baseball... Those games were always intense

LSU was 26 Point Favorite in that game.

Hilliard and James were freshmen in the 1982 Tulane game.

Now the real queston is: will it happen again in any of our lifetimes?
Can't see it even coming close.

My memory isn't what it used to be.

it will, the rant will truly melt, and the coach will be fired before the postgame handshake. I mean ULM beat Bama and Arkansas, so schedule enough in-state teams and it will happen again
of course that's what Ohio State said in 1921 after losing to Oberlin, sans the rant part (but i'm sure they melted)

But your superb baseball work guided me to correct you in the kindest way possible.

Reggie Reginelli was a mudder. Everyone on the LSU defense was slipping all over the place and Reginelli had a short stride and kept his footing. It was miserable.

Give us some time! We come around a season or two every decade
