In addition to the coaching ability, this is why I like Lane. I liked him at OM for the same reasons...even though I didn't like the results negatively affecting LSU. Sports are supposed to be fun. For the fans it is purely entertainment. Listening to the same old buttoned-up coach speak and platitudes is NOT fun. Give me the guy that has the personality.

This absolutely is what the book is. I was very disappointed that there wasn't more damning reports about Lane killing hookers or something, it was incredibly boring.
The prologue though was a pathetic attempt at bait, trying to draw parallel between Lane and Jeff Epstein/Harvey Weinstein, because they have the same PR guys. Like no fricking shite high profile PR, attorneys, etc will previously or currently have other clients who are accused of bad shite. That's like saying any other person who used Johnny Cochran was also a murderer just because he defended OJ.
Outside of that, and some pretty neat stories about Monte Kiffin and his life, the whole book read like a junior high girls secret diary, but more boring
