I love LSU, but I felt that Kiffin came with a lot of baggage. He left Tennessee, USC, Florida Atlantic, Ole Miss and was canned by the Raiders.
I wish LSU would hire a coach with less baggage. Kelly was not a good fit, but we have to have doubts that Kiffin is the answer. Out of all the coaches we hired him.

I somewhat agree. When we hired Kiffin, I had a blast because the ole Miss fans around here were pissed.
Fast forward a few months and I am already getting tired of the constant conflict and controversy.
Winning will cure all of that quickly….but if he starts losing, LSU fans will reach the boiling point very quickly.

My issue is the money spent.
Paying a “good” coach like he’s the “best” coach, while also being stuck with BK’s buyout is absolute a cluster of financial mismanagement.
Lane will win 8 or 9 games, same as Kelly, and you’ll have spent tons of money to just marginally improve. Juice ain’t worth the squeeze
If you have a big pot of money, and that money gets split to staff, stadium, coaches, players…I am investing it in players first

I freaking love LSU hiring Lane Kiffin. Everyone else can just go to hell. I’m having a blast. LSU hasn’t even played first game with Lane and everyone is talking about them Tiger.
