These posts can't be serious, right? They talk all the time. They have to gameplan together. They all watch film together. If you don't think Kiffin is going to help his DC gameplan at...well, that's just purely ignorant.

You don’t think Lane Kiffin and his defensive coordinator talk? Are you an idiot?

Hey dumbfrick, I was being sarcastic. I already said that in this exact thread. Keep up.

He has a great offensive mind because he has a great defensive mind.

With that said, Baker probably is picking his brain about how Lane would attack their defense and vice versa.

Lane would probably say “we would make Harold Perkins have to make a decision”

Lanes daddy was a defensive guru that crafted a defense that won a superbowl and was copied thru out the NFL! The Tampa 2 was developed by Monte Kiffin after multiple decades of coaching in the NFL against every iteration of offense you can think of! So this DC had to think of a defense that could get him the best chance against any offense that maybe called against it. So he thought thru everything an offense could potentially call & came up with that storied defense. So how could Lane not have an encyclopedia of variations of offensive play calls!

Kiffin was even kind enough to help coach O improve his defense....after beating Orgeron, of course.

In 2021 Kiffin beats O 31-17. He tells him after the game his stupid blend of 1990's Miami and 2000's USC defense....in 2021 doesn't work and he should change it. Two weeks later after a bye week LSU's approach is totally different at #2 Alabama, who was averaging 48 ppg in the first 8 games of the season. LSU's defense holds Alabama to 20, 4-14 on 3rd/4th down, and would have won the game with ANY shred of QB play at the end.

LSU defense is dominant the rest of the way (excluding the bowl game where everyone quit)
