I love it and people need to lighten up. If the country collapses, it wont be because of that.

fricking right. first off in no way is that disrespectful. secondly i may be alone on this one, but i just feel like the national anthem seems anticlimactic after singing the alma mater.

Been in the Army for 15 years - consider myself pretty patriotic. No issues from me, I love it

"...and the hoooooome of thuhhhhhhh, tigerrrrrssss - hey man, did you hear what I did? I sang 'tigers' instead of 'brave' at the end. Did you hear that? It was awesome."

Is that pretty much how it goes? Yeah. Pretty sweet.

Is is damned disrespectful.

I liked it better when the fans shouted LSU after the end. My kids used to think that was part of the anthem.

Unlike most sporting events, we actually take our hats off and sing the national anthem.

How long has the student section been doing that? From the East Upper, it just sounds like a loud cheer. But of course at the time everyone around me is saying it correctly.

Not disrespectful at all IMO.
I do think that at this last game the stadium was the loudest I remember at the end of the Alma Matter whenever we said Forever LSU!

Well I only remember from wayyyy back that Tulane always sang it with "The home of the Waaaaave". So I vote that it's un-original and basically sucks arse!

I think it's pretty lame and unoriginal, but not disrespectful at all.

Yes....America is home of the BRAVE, not home of the Tigers. It's juvenile and yes, disrespectful.

When you really think about it, most of the cheers and shite in the stadium are pretty cheesy. It just so happens that I like all of the cheesiness.
