Not at all. Injuries happen… BK had the outdated mindset of “we roll with who we have” and “next man up”.

Lane thankfully does not

Still have 3rd yr brown from scar, 4th yr carpenter, 3rd yr cobbins, true fr Henderson. Need to not see more injuries here though.

Curious if Geralds could pop out to de some snaps.

Is reliford on a timeline to be back playing in November?

It's college football. What else is a coach supposed to do if a player gets hurt? Until the last few weeks (and even that is not a certainty) there was no way for a coach to sign a new player in August or during the season if a player was injured. The coach had no choice but to play the next guy in line.

“some time”

= too early to determine at this point so we are saying some time because it’s not nothing, which probably means a minimum of 4 weeks but possibly up to 12 weeks. With a goal to be back by Ole miss game but we can’t say that because everyone will say “yall said” if the injury lingers and he isn’t better by then. And 12 weeks is worst case scenario but we don’t want to scare the crap out of everyone with that scenario so instead of getting into all the possibilities of when he could be back we will just be purposefully vague and say:
“Some time”

Lane said you more than likely won't see him this year.

Well that opportunity literally exists right now… Lane has said that depth will only get better as his tenure continues but this year we need bodies

Nobody listen to this guy cause he is just throwing out arbitrary numbers and doesn't know anything.

Lane isn’t supposedly great with injury reports is he? I feel like I remember Ole Miss fans complaining about that.

And this is why I laugh at folks complaining about adding guys like Pyburn. We need depth and there is never too much depth.

What if Princewell and Ross go down in a game?

Because I'm intelligent enough to understand that Pyburn isnt leaving the NFL to be a BACK UP at LSU. He is only going to go where he can start. With this new injury he make be back at LSU, but doubtful.

That’s kind of what I remember them saying you would think somebody might be playing and then all of a sudden they’re not vice versa.

Moscona literally just said that the injury is not thought to be serious.

I edited the post with Moscona’s clarification and then admins edited it again so not sure what the deal is there

So Lamar Brown is fine?

If so, delete this thread.
