This is one reason the WNBA is a joke and why top women players are in no rush to leave college. Big Day was so key for us.

WNBA is so small only best of the best make it. I’m not expecting Morris to make it either. Hurts cause I really want them to make it

It’s funny and sad listening to all of these talking heads saying that they deserve better pay and are pissed at the money being thrown around at the college level. I feel like NIL is going to help keep some of the girls on campus for 4-5 years because they can make more than a WNBA salary.

Morris will definitely make it. Shes is unguardable when making shots. And she should have been the MVP of the National Championship game.

Selected 17th *OVERALL* and waived already. That’s just dumb.

LSU players should stay as long as possible, use the publicity they get, earn NIL money, promote their brand , and think about building their own business unless the WNBA offers them so much that they can not reject.

Crazy part about it is with all this media hype for these players at the college level now with the NIL this will probably help the WNBA audience and future audience recognize the players again at the next level. Maybe even get more fans to watch those games after these exciting players get into the league.

I don't know if she declared early, but it probably makes sense for most women to stay all 4-5 years.

She was making less than $70,000 a year in the WNBA. Though that’s not terrible, it’s insulting for a professional athlete.

No one aside from the most degenerate of gamblers and family gives a shite about women's basketball.

It is an absolute joke of a pasttime, as it should be. The product at every level is cringe inducing.

Mulkey might do well at a school like Creighton, given 10 years to adjust. But it's literally a different ball game

If you claim to care about any women team sports aside from gymnastics, I will 100% cringe on you forever.

Women are good watching for individual sports. That's it

Then it’s not a viable sport if we’re being honest. Regardless of if it’s “our” player.

The wnba would be defunct if the NBA hadn’t lent them a financial hand.

I think less than 10 WNBA picks each year actually stick in the league. They'd be better off without a draft everyone being a free agent. At least then there wouldn't be this sham event where most of the draftees stand no chance of actually playing in the league.

welp, you win some and you lose some. Still think she is good enough to be on a WNBA team and I think you will see that later on.
