I don’t want our QBs throwing it their arm is actually sore. There is a reason QBs have less zip on the ball at the end of the season.

Brennen’s weight ballooned because he spent 4 years trying to get bigger.

This! He’s a skinny guy, drinking weight gain shakes in the middle of the night to add bulk, and now idiots here are calling him a fatty.

I think he did catch you. He blows away any of the others when it comes to interviews.

And, not to mention - the timing of the Kim Mulkey interview.

JORDY opened the door for LSU to get Kim Mulkey. If not for his interview with Kim on Friday April 16, 2021, Kim would likely still be at Baylor.
He interviews her on a Friday, Woody makes contact with her on Sunday, and she officially accepts by the next Sunday.
You may want to catch this interview baw:

That was 5 years ago. He filled in a couple years ago. Now he needs to tone up some. He doesn't strike me as a guy who trains year round at all.

I don't see him as the type of guy who has a passion for football 24/7. He will probably get beat out this year.

Go back and watch the first couple games from 2020 and he really isn't impressive.

Freezing Cold Take!

60.3 completion %
1112 yards (370.7 ypg)
8.5 yards/Att
11 Tds
3 Ints - which I think 2 were against Miss St on desperation heaves.
154.75 QB Rating

“This has been a Myles Brennan issue his entire time here”
This statement certainly shows you have absolutely no idea of what you talk about. Best you just shut up!

Jamarcus never came to LSU skinny as a rail and then end up looking like Rebel Wilson. Sound comparisons are a thing also.

“Yes you are 100% correct, But I would think your 6th year SR would be taking the Bull by the horns.”

He is! And you would have no way of knowing that.

Myles shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Jamarcus Russell. Russell has done more at LSU in far less time than Brennan.

Give me the number of Championships Russell participated in at any level. Jr High. High School, College, NFL?

Idk if there's a player on the team I'm rooting for more than Kyren. That dude really wants to be at LSU, cried when he walked into Tiger Stadium when the transfer was done and he realized he's finally going to be able to put on the P&G. I really hope he breaks out this season for us.

What championships did Brennan participate in at LSU? Don't give me mop up duty in '19, because he may as well have redhsirted that year just like JR redshirted in '03.

I like Brennan, but JR accomplished waaaaaay more than Brennan has at LSU, and it's not close.

To me this just highlights the rot and disarray that O left in his wake. Kelly has his work cut out for him

O removed the "Rot" left by Miles and won a Natty in three years.
That was without benefit of the transfer portal.
You predicting Kelly will do it in two years?
I hope!

Read the room. Jordy has surpassed 1045's shows. You don't have controversy over interviews with them because the shows are bad. You might not like it but sports media is gravitating towards shows like Jordy. What is more popular now: Barstool/Pat Mcafee type shows or Cowherd/Rome/Patrick type radio shows? Those other shows aren't signing deals like Mcafee just did. The same can be said for Jordy. Guy has gone from him and 2 people in a basement to a full fledged studio, multiple shows, and like 6+ different on air personalities. You hate it but its working.

Not apples to apples. Those are national shows with no particular loyalty to any team or fanbase. Gotcha journalism works on a national level because fans of all teams watch/listen. Local shows are meant to provide the diehards with continuous coverage of their favorite teams. I highly doubt there’s a “jordy” in Tuscaloosa, or Athens.

Jordy doesn't do "gotcha' journalism at all He's been very restrained in what inside info he let's out.

Same as all the other show hosts.

It's truly hilarious some many LSU fans think anything we do is unique in the fandom world

Ok hero, If the Transfer WR is more passionate about it than the guy that wants to start, what does that tell you? All I'm pointing out is Joe would have thrown until his arm fell off. Because he led from the front. Champions don't do the bare minimum. Flint might have told him to calm down, but I'm sure he told BK Lacy wants it more than the QB's at this point. If you have an Alpha Dog at QB Brady, Manning, Burrow etc... you win championships. Flint and Boutte should be telling Myles to chill out on the receivers not the other way around. And yes I hold Myles more accountable than Nuss and Walker because he's seen what it takes.

Lol wtf is this?

The interview is obviously lacy trying to tell the fans that he’s bringing in leadership and work ethic. He just didn’t realize that the way he said it may have made things sound bad to people who haven’t played the sport or have knowledge of the off season regimen.

This time of year isn’t really when those things are done at a level where you would go beyond a sore arm to get reps because it’s really needed.
This time of year is when it’s a good idea to not wear your body down

Y’all refer to the summer of 10k catches.
Key word is SUMMER ,they aren’t physically ready to do that yet.

Also, the offense hasn’t been installed has it? Spring practice start when?

2 things: these guys are 18 to 20 years old. They aren’t hurting their arm throwing footballs. Baseball pitchers throw footballs in the off season to strengthen their arms. You think baseball coaches would prescribe that if it wore their pitchers arms out?

They are absolutely installing their offense. I guarantee you the S&C coaches that are allowed to spend time with the players are helping them get up to speed with terminology, route trees, etc. They will have a basic understanding of the offense when they walk in the door for spring practice.
