He said QBs, we have 2 others already on campus before Daniels got here, so Howard, Nussmeier and Brennan are all telling him their arm is too sore to throw?

Maybe Howard can't throw yet and it's only nuss throwing most of the time.

I question myles' commitment myself.

Saying he has to get on the QB's to throw with the WR's, saying they try and tell him their arm's are sore.

Hard to tell but maybe Kyren's point was that he likes to work so much that he overworks QB arms not necessarily that he QBs don't want to work.

If he see's this so do the coaches. Myles saw Burrow makes guy's get off their arse's and work. For a transfer WR having to push him to work out with the receivers is disturbing.

Funny you left out the part where Boutte and Flint told him to calm down and that the QBs have regimen for their arms

would not surprise me. The way he wimped out on the Texas Bowl told me a lot about him.

Anyone with a brain would not have a hard time believing them. Team reflects leadership. O was running wild at LSU and the team was right there with him. Why you think BK had to purge some of the players and staff? Unbiased people have always questioned Myles's ability to commit to the team. Nuss freaking sat out during a game where he could have competed and better his chances of starting this year. Lacy came from a smaller school but with a coach who understands how to coach. No one would ever label Ed O as an X's and O's guy. Also he was never much of a team builder. Joe Brady is the only hire he has made that panned out.

Total conjecture here but when a college qbs weight balloons due to not playing ball, this could be a warning sign. Think Jamarcus Russell. Not saying thats the case but as soon as I saw those pictures circulating around the web I thought to myself..... How do you let that happen?

Myles shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Jamarcus Russell. Russell has done more at LSU in far less time than Brennan.

Ok hero, If the Transfer WR is more passionate about it than the guy that wants to start, what does that tell you? All I'm pointing out is Joe would have thrown until his arm fell off. Because he led from the front. Champions don't do the bare minimum. Flint might have told him to calm down, but I'm sure he told BK Lacy wants it more than the QB's at this point. If you have an Alpha Dog at QB Brady, Manning, Burrow etc... you win championships. Flint and Boutte should be telling Myles to chill out on the receivers not the other way around.

And yes I hold Myles more accountable than Nuss and Walker because he's seen what it takes.

Brennan won’t be the starter anyway

Myles is blessed with a rocket launcher for an arm but the reality is he’s just a country boy who probably prefers to be in the woods hunting or on the water fishing than watching film. Burrow lived and breathed football and barely ever left the building. Myles family comes from money too so he might not be as motivated as others to seek that big NFL contract. I’d still like to see him get his shot though but this should absolutely be a best man wins situation.

Kelly doesn’t want the QBs throwing right now.. Wants them in play book 24/7. Their just following orders

I believe that too. That’s what we have walk on QBs for. They can throw to the receivers all they want. Spring ball is coming soon and then the scholarship QBs will all be throwing a lot. Everyone will be sore regardless of position.

The one "insider" I know, who is in fundraising on the academic side, told me this about Brennan three years ago.

why is myles brennan sitting on the sideline laughing instead of being up joe burrow's arse.

Because I don’t think Joe is the kind of man who enjoys that.

I do see your point though, that he didn’t look to be soaking up everything he could.

Still, it doesn’t make sense that he wouldn’t be working his arse off given that he came back to LSU - he doesn’t seem like a quitter.

My guess is this comment was more about Nuss.

Some posters were concerned about BK’s culture not matching well. As many folks said over the last 18 months the culture needed to be completely changed. This is a prime example of the lack of leadership and direction that occurred under O following Jan 2020.

Are you really this dumb?

Lacy was laughing about in the interview

I'm sure the coaches are glad he's showing fight but I'm also sure they are glad their QBs are listening to them about not overthrowing in the offseason

I'm sure you would be fine if something happened to Myles or Nuss and they couldn't practice this week because they tweaked a shoulder by throwing beyond their recommended program

Since when do QB's hurt their arms by throwing too much? This is football we are talking about, not baseball correct? If either of the two were nursing an injury to their throwing arm, you'd be 100% correct. I know in the NFL they always have camp arms. So they have what 5 QB's in camp. but with the 3 scholarship guys and walk-on's nobody's arm should be getting tired.
