next year might finally do Beth in
at this point it's definitely not a competitive SEC roster and you are not gonna rely on freshman to carry you through a sec schedule

Good thing for her that LSU softball is near the bottom of priorities. She should have been gone years ago

LSU needs a new softball coach. I know some people say we can’t compete with other programs money buying players. But it’s getting to the point where you can’t compete in getting players even if you spend some money because the program sucks.

Once they tell her next year that she won't be extended, she will either resign, retire, or go into her last year with the worst team in SEC softball history.

that buyout is peanuts compared to what we are paying for CBK's buyout AND hiring a new football staff or what we spent on roundball.

no shite but football and basketball make money, softball loses it no matter if they have best team or the worst team in the SEC

They know.
They know they'll never compete for an SEC or WCWS Championship as long as Queen Beth is HC.
It's even harder now with Texas (2 WCWS Championships in a row) and Oklahoma in the SEC. We all thought that Gasso and the Sooners would dominate, but it's been Texas!
They gettin the hell out of Dodge.
If ultra dumbass Scott Woodward hadn't have given "Softball Nikki" the ridiculous contract extension, LSU would now be free to boot her arse and get somebody in here that can elevate the program.
Two more years to go though. They aint firing her and paying that buyout for softball. It doesn't matter either that they only scored ONE RUN in TWO GAMES against Alabama in the SR.

NOT interested in any of the "It's Only Softball" BS either. That's a non-competitive loser mentality from those that don't really care about LSU Sports outside of the Big 3.
