Video from today’s practice shows the redshirt freshman running with the ones at the Field-WR spot (where Brian Thomas played last year). Get used to saying this young man’s name.

I remember in high school he had a 300 plus yard game. Extremely explosive and tough. Texas pressed hard for him right before signing day.

It’ll be interesting to see the WR rotation in the fall

won't get a chance to see it until later this evening

Was Parker the only RSFreshmen running with that group? Curious to see who the 3 Wr's they are going to start with this year

I wouldn’t read too much into that. Could’ve been giving another guy a breather or maybe someone got banged up.

It would be great if Parker emerged as a dude for us, but I’m not putting him over Zavion or CJ yet.

Coming out of Allen you know physically he's ready to be on the field. There's an opportunity for some of the youngsters if they can be consistent.

Kyle Parker is legit.

Next “under the radar” WR to blow up at LSU

Lot of recruitniks on the RB were raving about him and he put up gaudy numbers in HS.

So the starting 3 are Lacy, Hilton and Parker?

No… Parker was getting reps with the 1’s during spring practice. It’s noteworthy, but doesn’t mean he is a starter now

I believe it's been reported that Anderson is in the slot with the other upper classmen in terms of the 1s. Will be interesting to see how the depth chart looks after summer.

Edited for the downvoters who don't really follow the guys who go to the practices apparently

I’m not putting stock into anything in March but Fwiw Lester was calling this kid the best wr we took that year with him, Sampson, brown and prean

Seems like Hilton and Lacy are pretty set.

You have 9 guys going after 1 spot or backing up the others. A couple of the freshmen will probably redshirt.

Sampson
Daniels
Parker
Prean - position change?
Anderson
Thomas
Billiot
Turner
Watkins
Ibieta

Good stuff!
Give him an opportunity to show what he's got with Nuss.

They’ll have a rotation of 5-6 guys most likely.

Parker is fast and speed kills defenses on the outside. He will get lots of playing time. Our wide receiver group has to be the best in the country as far as speed, skill and depth. Boom!
