Or could get a major knee injury playing in college and really frick up his career. You see it goes both ways.

It's a risk/gamble. But it isn't like he is passing up a 1st or 2nd round draft pick to come back. He was already playing against the odds as an UDFA.

It is a percentages thing.

KT2 looks like he was made in a laboratory. He'll make some money somewhere. Also, frick all of the negative arse holes who talk trash on these kids. He could have went anywhere but came to BR and for that I'll always root for the guy

When one has no argument, the opposition must be demonised in order to validate that person's logic starved opinion!

Is that it??? That's the best argument you have for what you believe. Not only is your argument weak, but you think you can read my mind, despite what my written word says.

Now there us a real bust, Malachi Dupre.

He has to be kicking himself for leaving early. That really was a bad decision. He'll more than likely never play another meaningful down of football. 5* athlete, best at his position, and now praying to remain on the practice field....

Playing at LSU screwed up Dupre's career, kid never developed with the nonexistent passing game there

If he had it all over again I'm damn sure Dupre wouldn't pick an LSU. Lol

I agree, picking LSU was a mistake. Somewhere, Rueban Randle is kicking himself for the same reason.

I can't help but think you have to be right. In he and his family's mind, they saw $$$'s and thought it was money in the bank in 3 years, regardless of how he performed in college. Really short sighted. What a waste to have that kind of talent, that kind of opportunity, and walk away from it all with just a closet full of LSU memorabilia.

KT2 $25K guaranteed
This is a classic example that Ed O can explain to future juniors who can, but probably shouldn't go. KT2 would have been the MAN opposite Greedy next year. It could have really helped him. I'm imagining it now in my head and it saddens me..

$25K? No way. The salary will be better. But to leave for only the $25K is not the right financial decision.

You're nutts. Our secondary is hurting for depth more than it has in over a decade. He had a heck of a chance to start, and we are most likely going to have a stellar pass rush. Just starting at "DBU" alone would have gotten him a 4th round grade or higher.

Yo frickstick, you should have stayed for your senior year too. That's three halves.

You think a practice squad player makes 6 figures a year? Lol. Some have to have another job bc they could get cut at anytime. They don’t have any guarantee money. I want to say I read somewhere a few years ago a practice squad player makes maybe $1500 a week. Only paid for the weeks in a season. Maybe $30K for the whole season. They are not guaranteed. They don’t have roster bonuses or work out bonuses either. Maybe he should have come back for one more year and at least get drafted. His stock could have only gone up.

Brady James stayed his senior year and went to the cowboys to have a great NFL Career.
Trev Faulk left his junior year and failed in the NFL

Both were stud linebackers on the same LSU squad the same years at LSU.

Of course he could have spent the last 3 years "learning" under Corey Raymond and earned a $22.25 million contract like Jamal Adams. But hey, lets blame the coaches and not the uncoachable players.

He just had bad instincts. You can't coach that.

Everything else is there for him. He's always stride for stride with the WR, tackles well, but cannot locate the ball in the air or jump routes.

This attitude rumor pisses me off kind of too. He was one of the best recruits we've ever had from an attitude perspective and started as a freshman at LSU. He did not enjoy school and wasn't good at it and doesn't come from money, so he made a poor decision and went pro early. He didn't have a bad attitude on the field and always tried hard at the sport.

I wish him the best and think he'll definitely make a roster.
