Are you basically asking me if I would trade Miles for Orgeron?
The answer is no. I'd gladly take an 8-4 season with crappy QB play over what we're about to witness the next 8 weeks.
Now would I still have fired Miles in 2015 if we were going to commit to an actual coaching search. Absolutely.

You do NOT fire miles UNLESS you have a proven HC lined up. Or do a real search and get one! miles needed to go but with all his faults the man would get his 8 wins. That is coming from me a anti miles guy!

Exactly.
The truly damning aspect of O's hiring? Alleva basically had half of '15 and all of '16 to line up an excellent hire for LSU's football team.
O's hiring, in that context, is atrocious.
