Kirby has been at Georgia since 2016. In his second season he goes to a national champship and takes a shocking loss due to Tua's great play.

Does Georgia really have that much more talent than LSU stockpiled up over the years? I really dont think so.

I know Kirby has been a great recruiter but hes only been there for 3 years and he quickly resurrected the Georgia program

I really wanted Kirby a year before he left bama for uga. The guy had an oustanding resume and had run the best defense in college football year in and year out under Saban.

Meanwhile we hire CEO and you see what we get. Yes he is a good recruiter and yes he won a game more than I expected but hes just not an elite coach and never has been.

What other major college program would have considered him for this job and what elite coaches would have put Ensminger back at OC this past year?

You get a 9 win season but we cant score a single point on Alabama at home.

Bottom line is that if you want elite results you hire an elite coach with an amazing resume.

Hopefully CEO can hire a decent OC but you really have to question his judgement for going with Ensminger.

Is CEO really a highly intellectual coach that can do the little things, hire the right staff to bring us back to relevance and make us even competitive with Bama? So far it appears the answer is no

Yes we beat Georgia this year at home, i think they were over confident, we played harder and shocked them.

Does anyone think we beat them today? Not a chance

Does anyone really think O can replicate the kind of success Kirby has had at Georgia in just 3 season?

Oregeron does not compare to Kirby. Orgeron should not be the coach here and it’s crazy that our management thinks he’s the best guy for the job.

LSU really screwed up by not just pulling the plug in 2015

Worst decision ever

Kirby = CFP and NC appearance

Tom Herman = Conference championship appearance

Jimbo = beats coach O

Coach O = playing for coconut shrimp coupons at the outback bowl

As long as Ed Orgeron is the head coach at LSU, we are doing nothing but marking time.

Unfortunately, that also applies to Joe Alleva as Athletic Director.

Can’t get a bargain head coach and expect elite results

Right on, brother! Coach O showed he can beat Kirby and UGA. Not many coaches can say that. I would NOT want to be in UGA's shoes!!!

Orgeron very clearly out coached Kirby this year.

Say what you want about anything else.

So you wouldn’t want to be coming off of a NCG appearance and SEC championship coming into this year, then back in the SEC championship this year?

The Atlanta area has more D1 prospects than the entire state of Louisiana for one. And those athletes are spread over more positions not just DB RB and d line like Louisiana.

Where were you people BEFORE Kirby was hired . We are LSU . We don’t hire coordinators. We only hire coaches with Head coaching experience. Kirby didn’t qualify .

No way! UGA success comes too quickly. I like Coach Ed Orgeron's approach-- build slowly and take our time getting to the next level. It's nice having improvements to look forward to next year. I would hate to be competing for conference and national championships and lose. Much better to build piece by piece and put the best players and coaches in position to WIN AND WIN RIGHT!

Georgia lays in a much easier division. Their path to the SCCG is a walk in the park compared to the gauntlet LSU has to negotiate.

Kirby put 21 points on bama in the first half and is on the verge of back to back playoff appearances.

Id take kirby over coach Os "outcoaching" him at home for one game and then completely turning around uga season all day long
