I hated that question and Twitter firestorm that he started by bragging. Must have learned that tactic from Glenn Guilblow.
LSU Sports is an outlet for me to get away from the politics and nonsense of daily life. I'm fine with our coaches and players having their opinions, but I don't want to see or hear them during the game or team press conferences. I want it to be the politics free zone...

This Cory Diaz a-hole worked in Greenville, SC and covered South Carolina women's basketball last year. So he was probably all up in Dawn Staley's putrid arse.

Yes, she made a huge mistake bringing $10 worth of pot to Russia, that’s on her. But to wish 9 years of Russian prison on her for a victimless crime all because of anthem protests is pretty damn dark. Yes, the anthem protests were dumber than shite, but we’ve all got that right to be dumbasses. That’s what makes this place the greatest country on earth.

But what that reporter did was burn his own bridge with Kim on his first day on the beat. If a coach likes a writer and trusts him/her, then that coach is more likely to give a good interview or give them more "insider" information.
If there is any "breaking news" around the program, this Diaz arse-hat won't be the one breaking it. He will be the last person Kim or her staff will give a story to.
