What does that have to do with my posts? I asked for context/background to understand why the reporters question is supposedly controversial and why Mulkey gave a petty response, but I don’t expect you to understand tact.

That’s absolutely correct. Except this is a press conference affecting her team, the University, and the overall perception of the program. Maybe she’s smart enough to gauge the temperature of the nation when it comes to one of our citizens being held hostage by our most hated adversary. Pride goeth before the fall. Kim has been negative recruited for years, I mean years and continues to land top recruits, transfers, etc
I bet you 100% its been brought up by recruits, players and their families. The only people she should answer to is them, she doesn't owe the public anything. The fact that her players love her, go to war for her every year tells me this entire thing is a non issue.
Look at Kim's current recruiting class, this is a non issue despite people wanting to make it something.
