You’re right about last year in coverage but I thought he was playing pretty fast yesterday. Kids can improve!

Weeks is great, but if there was one unit that can absorb an injury, it’s LB. Hate to lose him, but the others will have to pony up.

I'll never understand why some people feel the need to shite on one of our best players, and a great Tiger, to try and lift up another player.
Whit has been all LSU since he committed here, has played injured and has been a damn good linebacker for us as well. No need to put him down you sorry sack of shite.

This has to be a troll. Keys played well and is a good starter but he is not even remotely close to being better than Whit.

Concur, I feel good about our LB depth and as a group they should continue to play well within Coach Baker's scheme. Keys & Dottery will continue to make plays.
The strength of this DEF is NOT one player, but the collective play of multiple, talented guys at each level doing their jobs very well. With that said the injuries are piling up. Hopefully WW will be back before the Bama-Tx-Tenn stretch.

Keys made a great play there, but no reason to think Weeks wouldn't have made it.. in fact, he had a similar play vs. Clemson on a 3rd & 1..
ETA: Keys is an excellent run defender, and good on the blitz. They'll need to get creative on not asking him to do too much in coverage though.
