Oregon fans, watch the attached video. It shows why your program is not and will never be comparable to LSU. You are going to see firsthand on September 3rd.

Don't be a flaming idiot. This video has nothing to do with this thread, and has even less to do with the LSU vs. Oregon game.

I stopped the trailor 30 seconds in...everything was in slow motion. Is that what we're going to see on Sept. 3? Your offense will be in slow motion?

You can't put 8 in the box against Oregon.

Just why not? You don't seriously think they will go 5 wide. They line up with an empty backfield and their QB will not survive the 1st half.

And pretty much any talk of Krag coming in and doing his own thing should be dismissed.

If you saw the Spring Game you could see some of what he was doing.

So we shouldn't see much of a difference than what we've seen thhe past 6 years.

Why just 6 years, look back past that. HC's and OC"s go with what works. Been this way for years.

Same thing with personnel.

I think we'll see at least 4 wide all game. You can't put 8 in the box versus that, much less 5 wide, which I think we'll see as well with motions out the backfield.

And their QB will survive because they get rid of the ball very fast. They have about a million different bubble combinations, screen's, and other quick shite.

We also look completely lost trying to defend the various zone reads, options, etc. I have no faith in Chavis coming close to stopping Oregon's offense.

Because Les is the coach. I just am not convinced he will let a coordinator come in and have carte blanche over the offense. But the way some folk talk, that'll happen.

We've been fairly weak on offense the past 2 years, for whatever reason. Maybe it was coaching, maybe it was personnel but probably a little of both. We have got to get better QB play regardless.

if this was a given it would also mean our nickle package is on the field more than your standard base package. Big advantage LSU when the mustang hits the field.

The problem is that most of the 4 wide sets will be barner splitting out from a double rb set. You will see a lot of this next year. CK is publicly talking about putting in a package to have both of them in the backfield. Bennett threw three time to Barner out of the backfield in the spring game and he was open every single time but Bennett underthrew him and then threw behind him twice. CK believes that Barner is every bit the impact player as LMJ and better a receiver to boot.

Likewise, there will be no time to substitute packages. If you send out the 4-3 you better be able to have the same 11 run a nickle package to stop a 4 wide set. Then again the play may be 2 wide receivers, 2 te and 2 rb and end up 4 wide outs and a rb, all 5 split out...damn the maddness!

Key to stopping UO? Let me see... Calapse the line! While UO can pass, if you jam the line, and stop the run you win. That's not easy though, only AU, and Cal have done it, and Cal lost. LSU (or any other team) must be disciplined with their D, not just fast, or powerful but disciplined! If they are too aggressive, UO will eat them for lunch. UO had the best offense last year for a reason. We did not set NCAA records for nothing with our O. If you aim to beat us, your DE's must be disciplined and you must rattle our QB. We have a triple option, QB run, RB run, QB pass. If you load up on too much of one, we will beat you in the other! We key off what the D brings. Having a beast like Fairly does not hurt! And while our O may be the best in the nation, our D is heavy underrated! Respect our D! We have a secondary that give the B in Ball hawks! One is better off trying to run against us then pass against us. I have seen LSU much and LSU is known for all of this, so this game is scary. I expect a epic slugfest! While LSU may have more overall talent and speed in total, UO has more speed with their playmakers! We won track in 4x4 relay for a reason, and we are track town USA for a reason! Many of our guys are track studs on our FB team. You give us a inch, and we will take it to the house! We may be little, but respect our speed. if not, you will get burnt! LSU matches us extremely well, and if I was to bet, I would be undecided which team would win. Either team could pull it off! Your super weak at QB(thus far), but we are super weak at O line and WR. Will our teams be prepared in each weakness in time? Only time will tell. That is why we play the game for a reason, do decide. I expect a close one, and epic slugfest! I expect a close one, and low scoring, and rusty. Which team will win, we all shall have to wait and see! Until fall camp and knowing improvements of either team, this is as close as one gets. It could go either way! One team will probably have their ego smashed, and the other will rise to #1 in the polls. Which team? This may be too close to call at this point in the off season.

Watch the Ohio State and Auburn videos from the past two bowl games. The blueprint for stopping Oregon is there. When they run into a legitimate defense they are just like everyone else.

I think most Tiger fans believe that can run the ball at us with ease. That is where I believe you are mistaken.

Dyer had his way.. we will be able to run the ball.

Dont forget how Auburn effectively took the Oregon run game away (75 yards I believe). Yes Oregon was able to throw the ball, but this is a completely different secondary they will be facing and Jeff Maehl (who was simply amazing at getting open all season) is gone.

The oregon folks have been yapping for pages about your invincible double tight end set... now you are saying 4 and 5 wide?

And we have a secondary that will fly around like nothing Oregon has seen.

The one that starts off with some doofus talking about the Pac 10 being the toughest conference in the country?

I am suppose to take a video serious that starts off like that? Really?
