What does it say about Kelly that his assistant coaches aren’t willing to follow him and stick with Freeman instead? Should this be a concern?

It doesn’t say anything. One was offered his first HC job and the other was a QB at ND.

No. Saban brought ZERO assistants from Michigan State when he was hired.

Sounds like alot of them are getting promotions and pay raise plus they have a pretty good team built and solid recruiting class coming in... Not everyone is up for change or challenge of the sec west

They promoted the DC. The OC played there and the staff stuck together. This isn't that complicated

Another dumb thread about this.

Show me where he even asked his staff to come here other than Freeman and Rees?

And if you don’t understand why they are staying at ND, you aren’t paying attention?

It means they went to Notre Dame for a reason, and they now have a reason to stay.

It says nothing. One we tried to get last year and wouldn't come bc he loves the Midwest...and now is the HC. Rees is an alum. I would think the others prob have ties to ND also. Why up and move your family across the country if you are happy?

It says that they think Freeman is an up and comer and that they think Notre Dame is a good place to build their resume.

I feel like we've had this discussion before...

Like 1999, maybe?

It says nothing. Again, Satan's assistants didn't follow him from MSU.

Freeman was offered the HC gig so no surprise there.

OC was a QB there and frankly we can do better

It will be devastating. You see how bad this has hurt Saban. We should fire him now..

That they could possibly make the CFP
Or
There Families are Happy where they are!

I don't think some of you understand that Families play a roll in if a coach accepts a job or not. Some Wives don't like to uproot if they have young kids if they don't have to.

And then lastly maybe that coach is Happy where he is.

All of the above says NOTHING about CBK! Just maybe whats best fot that coach and his family

Really all we need is a hotshot OC and QB coach.
I think we can win with Jones and Co. on the defensive side. We need to score more than 24 points a game to win at least 10 games.
