Honestly, a change in position coaches would pacify me if they are really good, no doubt hires. I'm level-headed enough to know that the same House we praised last year didn't just hit his head and forget how to coach. I still believe that you can't run out a defense that bad and keep your job in Baton Rouge, but I don't think House is a failure.

You don't know this, you don't know his thought process nor do you have any inkling how he wants to proceed.

Yes, you are wrong and completely full of shite.

At this point, Kelly is screwing with the low IQ ranter!

You’re not responding to Kelly’s comments just trolling as usual and not creating any of your own threads. So damn afraid to put yourself out there, put your own reasoning or thoughts out there in public view. Says a lot about you brother.

Well, we currently need a new OC, and college football is built around the offense in todays game.

We lost 3 games with the fricking Heisman on offense. Defense matters still

I'm behind Kelly, I think he's an upgrade to either of our previous two coaches and if they won a national title here I think he certainly can too. I have not changed my opinion there after two years.

However, it does concern me that his first year we had one of the worst special teams I've ever seen here and this year one of the worst defenses we've ever had and I've been watching LSU football since the early 70's. I think it's reasonable to at the least say that's a concern.

Would be one reason for Kelly prolonging addressing the defensive staff. To be fair, the other reason could be Kelly doesn’t want to lose any of his offensive staff, which he may be promoting.

or that's the most "non answer" answer je could give.

I hope he wasn't waiting for his buddy Rees to be fired at Bama so he could hire him. That might take a week or so.

Just for clarification. Kelly can not afford to screw up another DC or special teams hire.

I thought he missed a window to fire House during the bye week. Who knows how it would've turned out. Maybe we beat Bama? It certainly would've affected their preparation for us. One thing I do know is that we closed on a few prospects since then and who knows if that happens with the DC job open.

After his fricking horrible showing against Bama, I thought we had another window to move on. Again, see recruiting situation so who knows.

At this point, Kelly may as well wait for the CFP and NFL season to conclude before making a new hire. I freely admit I am only a fan watching the product on the field (as we all are), so the timing considerations are something out of my wheel house. However, my 2 yr old grandson can see that this was a massive shite show of epic proportions from which there is no reasonable scenario that House remains with this team next season.

BK is not a 16 year old girl. He knows exactly who is getting canned, he’s known for weeks, we just don’t know. I don’t understand folks who think he’s just fricking around when it comes to fixing the defense. This season will go down as one of BK’s biggest regrets in his coaching career because he squandered the greatest player he’s ever coached and likely will ever coach. He came down here to win a natty, and would’ve been the odds on favorite in just his second year, had he fielded even a slightly below average defense. This year could’ve possibly given 2019 a run for its money. He will never get to coach a kid like JD again. Don’t think for a second this doesn’t bug the shite out of BK.
