Sonny Cumbie didn't out coach anyone. The offense sucked. Tony Franklin's game plan sucked.

Cumbie has a bad reputation with how he handles quarterbacks.

Heck in his first year at Louisiana Tech, the worst QB on the roster wasn't ever going to get pulled. Lucky for us he got knocked out. Anyone with eyes would've taken the guy out of the game.

So no, Sonny Cumbie is literally too stupid and arrogant to out coach anyone.

If there was anyone who would investigate the multiple claims made by parents, (Cumbie didn't learn anything from how he treated Ben Ben Carlisle) he absolutely would've been run out of town.

the biggest issue tonight is that we played a top 5 team that we prepared 3 weeks for in week one and we played Louisiana tech tonight. thats it. its a lack of focus and intensity on offense because they werent ready to play on offense . its hard to bring it every week in college.

also we need to stop subbing so much and play with more pace. you gotta be able to get the defense on its heels and let the players get continuity. we will be good on offense most of the year ,this was a letdown that Ray Charles saw coming

if you were a sports bettor and didnt bet tech plus the points and Bama to cover ,youre not very smart

guess so when you retain Davis and Sloan on your staff who everyone could see before this season was weak links. Same thing with his first terrible defensive staff.

HC's hanging onto obvious deficient coordinators has been their capital offense from time immemorial.

LSU played down to LA Tech from Drive 1 on Offense. Tech gained confidence while LSU just kept getting guys hurt & playing sloppy.
Good thing we are paying Kelly $10M a year to tell us the obvious things that have been going wrong for 4 years now…
The OL/Run game has been crap. The Special Teams and overall strength & conditioning of the team has been the same since he got here.
How about fixing those things, LSU finally gets a Defense now regresses on Offense.

Dumbest quote I've ever seen.

If you are blowing them out that means you learned what you needed to and your team is performing well.

Do you think a coach would rather blow a team out or look like shite and win?

I think when he says this, it is mostly directed at his assistant coaches. But he does need to include himself in this.

Our offensive line was out matched at the point of attack. One side wanted to play football and one team didn’t. It was obvious. That was La Tech’s Super Bowl and they gave us everything they had.

Was this a refresh from last season? I feel like I've heard this for the past 4 years.

Tell me one moment in that entire game where you felt worried we might lose.

There was zero threat of a loss from kickoff to final whistle.

Dominant.

I’m not exactly sure what some of you losers want a coach to say after such a performance but it sounded pretty spot on to me.

I hope it’s the proverbial ‘wake up call’ and that Moore, Green, and anyone else that may have been dinged can get healthy and back on the field asap.

And, yes, negatigers are fricking losers.

That is all…

He’s not on the field blocking. At some point the oline has to step up and take accountability

At this point, I'm about 90% certain Sloan won't be back next year unless we win the title, in which case you'd probably still want to replace him, but probably won't on a technicality.

To win the title you have to not look like your o line is annually getting pushed around and successfully run the ball. It’s always an adventure under Sloan and Kelly regardless of personnel.

Last years highly touted line was very similar in big spots. I think we’ve improved greatly in many regards but we’ve never really had a dominant running game under Kelly.
