Your point captain obvious let’s trade him so he can play with a great D that’s not how this works

Seriously, any idiot that blames the offense for last night's loss should have their account put in time out.

How stupid can you be? LOL JK, rhetorical question.

I think our defensive issues are 80% scheme related and 20% talent deficiency.

It doesn't look that way to me. It looks to me like it's player discipline more than anything. Players coming off their assignments thinking they have to make a play leaving guys wide open. Guys over pursuing and getting out of position. Much of Perkins' apparent disappearance has some of this element as well. He tends to get too far upfield when he rushes, he gets hyper-focused on the QB at times to the exclusion of the RB, and has had guys run right by him while he heads for the QB, it happened last night on one of the long RB TDs, literally ran right by the guy with the ball to hit the QB.

That is probably on inexperience and coaching more than scheme and talent. I'm not absolving those, just saying they are only part of the issue and not necessarily the biggest part.

It's gonna take a couple of good recruiting classes to get back on defense. Stay patient

You might want to look at the DL class we have coming in if you think Kelly is going to fix anything in recruiting.

DiD you realize he switched numbers to 4? The entire second half of last night's game he played in the jack LB role and rushed EVERY SINGLE TIME HE WAS ON THE FIELD. He was absolutely without a doubt MANHANDLED, DESTORYED, TREATED LIKE A SMALL CHILD on his blitz attempts. He had one sack when he came through UNTOUCHED. Ole Miss didn't put even a hand on him. Remember that other sack that he almost had WHEN HE COULDNT TACKLE DART, and the QB handed the ball off for a 4 yard gain?

Perkins isn't that good. He's playing the same role as last year, but now teams know his abilities and just put a block on him. The RB took him off his feet last night.

Every team is certainly a reflection of its leadership. Kelly can't even acknowledge the weakness being the defense.
"DiD yOu WaTcH the GaMe? :-/ If we made a few plays on offense..."
Did you watch the game, Brian?
Because we ONLY made a few plays on defense. Otherwise, Ole Miss looked like an offensive juggernaut.

Nuss is definitely the guy next year. He said it himself. He is watching and learning, no matter how it plays out.

Daniels’s production so far is unreal. It is unbelievable to have a QB playing this well and have more than one loss. Most teams would be undefeated at this point with this kind of QB play.

He is going to be a top 5-10 pick in the NFL draft.

WOW, you post this and the first thing you blame is the offense. What an inbred. You are perfectly ok with giving up 21 in a quarter? fricking retard!

There’s no about to. He already has. We lost 2 games. And with this defense will lose more.

The only real negative I see in Daniels is that he reportedly stands to himself on the sidelines. I know it's good for him to stay focused and all, but this team needs leadership. He needs to be talking to players, coaching, inspiring, and leading them.
