I really wish there was more insight to why Wiggins hasn’t seen the field more. I mean he seems like has the frame and the tools from the outside. I wonder how is off the field injury plays in to it at all.

Don’t disagree but secondary is a pretty scary situation right now. I think that might be the highest priority based on what I’ve seen on the field unless I’m misreading the context.
I think you are (missing the context).

Secondary has been a portal target the past 2 years. Usually your portal guy is a plug-and-play starter for a season.
I think we have good young players in the pipeline, and won't need to keep slapping bandaids there like we've been doing. It's scary right now, because we went heavy portal the last 2 years for starters; and year 2 wasn't the quality year 1 was.

I think we're a bit light in the defensive line interior, especially as far as rotation. Maybe a year away from the young guys being ready to step in. That's what he's addressing.

I think we might take a BPA, but most of the positions are starting to fill in.
I'm curious to see what type of influx we get from A&M in the offseason.

So reading between the lines, sounds like he knows Wingo and Smith are gone.

In The Advocate article, Kelly spoke about having a sit down discussion with players to see who may be leaving, as of yet not determined.

Idk why yall think every recruit is getting paid

A&M has always recruited well, especially in Texas. They have occasionally signed a big time recruit out of Louisiana. The last two years, they have blown the doors off nationally and they have taken a half dozen kids from Louisiana. The only thing that changed was A&M's well documented NIL funding, even as the program's reputation declined nationally.

If it isn't money, what would you attribute this too?

This is The Advocate’s article regarding LSU’s defense, which most of us want to know about

I do. Thanks for posting.

It always amazes me these pussies who don’t like a poster, but are attracted to his threads like bees to honey. Just don’t open the thread. It says on the main page who started it and what the topic is.

Top two la. Dts got paid more by A&M . LSU needs to get at least one of these guys back.

Not necessarily. If we are buying DTs there is no reason to limit ourselves to LA guys.

Doesn’t scare me a bit. I like where we are. Zy Alexander was good, although it took him a few games to adjust to the competition. Toviano, Stamps and Hughes are coming along, and we get JK Johnson back, who started for Ohio State. And we add three freshmen for depth and development.

Safety looks like it’s in good hands. Major Burns took a lot of heat on here, but I think he played well. Yaites is going to be great.

The secondary is not going to be great, but it will be good next season.

Too bad Wiggins can’t get on the field, showed great raw potential and had high hopes for him as a pass rusher at least

That’s the problem, a DE can’t just be a good pass rusher, otherwise, you know, Trindon and stuff.

These kids come out of high school and most need to get bigger, stronger and tougher before lining up at DE or DT. Some take a year, some take three years. Give them time.

SPEED! SPEED! SPEED! This is the slowest D that I can remember. Even
Palinis D could run they were just out of position all the time. These guys are usually trailing the play and can’t run anyone down.

Hold that Tiger 10 is not trying to portray second hand knowledge as his own as some sort of know it all. He is just calling you out on your posts. Your takes are retreaded, worn out news and yet, you come on here projecting like you discovered something no one knows about. Get a new schtick TTT.
