Could have let him walk to bama and spent NIL on better players

In hindsight, no doubt. But if he makes us ONE big catch against us and we lose that game, could you imagine the level of shite storm this board would've gone thru?

Mid round pick for the Bengals

So, he preferred the better wr?

He couldn’t get open if he’s running a 4.6

maybe a 3rd rounder.
4.67 40 is like 5th or 6th round with the other concerns.

His vertical and broad jump are the most concerning. That shows an athlete with zero explosion.

To be fair, his first was a 4.50. Still not great, but that's a lot better than 4.67.

That link shows his 40 at 4.5 fwiw

The numbers of his combine are horrible.
We all wondered and now it's
obvious what the issue was last year.
It's staring you right in the face.

Because Taylor and Nabors were better than Boutte this year. He’s fat, slow, and unfocused. I mean I get that he was great as a freshman and all but how long can that carry you? He’s not the same guy he was 3 years ago

He ran a 4.67 on his 2nd 40. I wonder if his ankle still isn’t right. I would have guessed he was a sub 4.5 guy before his injury.
This kid's not a hard worker or team player.
Talent only lasts so long. Gaining weight and feeling entitled does not make you faster or better.
He's going to bust.
Whoever is in his camp has him thinking he can sit around and do jack shite, and still be a top dog.
High school track speed is gone, and this kid is wasting his talent.

He reportedly ran a 4.37 in high school. That injury changed something in him.

It does kinda suck for the dude because Jayden didn’t really zero in on him last year. For whatever reason, he preferred Taylor and Nabors.
Well they try harder, and are probably faster and jump higher. Are you surprised?

Yep, I think it played out all year long.
He's his worst enemy.

History tells me not to draft him....
He had it all, and blew it.
