You are wrong.
Outside of this interview, I know nothing abut this player as a person.
Not saying that Boutte cannot make amends or rehab the damage done by this interview, because he can.
But aside from his game performances, people know nothing about him. This interview is his first, that I know of, and it frames his image as a person in unflattering light.
I hope this was just a bad interview and unfortunate choice of words, but MAAAN...

It’s going to come down to recruiting the 2&3 star( and over looked athletes) who appreciate the opportunity. That is who is going to win championships with at least consistently.
Doesn’t matter how many “5 stars “ you have if no commitment and most importantly no team chemistry. It will be a virus to the team. Just my opinion.

Wtf ! Some of you must respond with out listening to the interview ! He sounded like he wants to lead the team 2022 ! All I can figure is Saban's got the Chinese bots working overtime ! Boutte was very positive about coaches, teammates and wants to Kick arse this year ! I guess everyone has their own opinion, mine is Boutte is a Bad arse !

I can't bring myself to watch Cullotta. His whole setup weirds me out as much as his weird, bearded face.

Oh they don’t want to hear that!! It doesn’t fit their narrative

Kelly is making "graduate champions" part of his program identity. It's in commitment tweets, facilities and on player gear.
It's certainly not going to keep your early round players from declaring early but I prefer the brand Kelly is trying to establish over O's message and program identity of "LSU is just a brief pit stop on your way to your actual goal of going to the NFL".
It's certainly not an LSU or an O problem, it's happening across college football. But O really played into it and fostered this idea of we'll get you in and out in 3 years. Players not vested in the program, no pride in playing for LSU.

Bunch of punk asses not used to accountability

Anyone else feel Boutte will be made the example of?
How can you honestly expect this guy with that attitude to give it his all?
This,is exactly why we are below .500 the last two years. Eliminate the selfishness and the quitters. I fricking love the attitude and lets be honest, LSU is not going to win a national title this year but we most certainly can win 8-9 games without a cancer element.

Accountable to themselves, not accountable to the team. It’s a reasonable concern that if he has the slightest injury, he’ll shut it down.

Culotta is a turncoat drama queen. No wonder he's been reduced to doing a show in his basement stirring up shite with that guy that looks like a pedophile.
Posted on 3/24/22 at 1:53 pm to Byrdybyrd05
This guy sounds outta alignment.

This dude is such an entitled drama queen, Jesus Christ. I want talented kids like him to want to play for LSU so bad but it appears so obvious from this interview and past stuff that he doesn't wanna be here and just wants money

I told all yall that Boutte didn't want to be at LSU and the only reason he didn't leave was because of the money. It's crazy because this same clown would play 3 years at Bama with no talk at all like this.
ETA: Don't look for him to be playing in the bowl game at the very least.
IMO, after actually listening to it, he doesn't expect LSU to win anything of importance, so he's saying that the guys that came in with him and if they are on a 3 and out trajectory, to leave immediately. Some guys make decisions at the end of the year to stay or go, and some are convinced by other ways. I still don't think that's a good mindset to have, especially if you aren't damn near guaranteed a 1st or 2nd round spot.
