Absolutely insane to think about how far this young man has fallen! Hoping he can get it together

He noticeably lost his burst in between his sophomore and junior season. Sucks, dude had crazy potential.

That injury fricked him. He looked like a future GOAT at the end of his freshman season.

Maybe an slight attitude adjustment would help as well.

That injury fricked him. No if ands or buts about it. People in here can complain about his attitude but how would you feel in his situation? He was the only guy on that team that day who gave a shite in a blowout and put 200% effort on the field only for him to obtain a gruesome injury that stunted his career. He very clearly lost his burst after that injury. It had to be a very high grade one. He lost the one attribute that made him soar over everyone else on the athletic spectrum.

God given talent can make you good. Work ethic, drive, humility, and determination can make someone with God given talent great or elite.

You have to work twice as hard to be half as good after an injury like he had. He obviously wasn’t in shape last year.

Can’t blame it all on the injury. Sometimes it’s the man in the mirror.

Boutte is the one to blame for listening to whoever advised him on his career.

This quote bothers me. Hopefully it’s just because BOB was at Bama and likely knows how Boutte was at LSU, and not a reputation that we have in the league.

I call BS on the injury. When he made some catches in the SEC Championship and put the after burners on after the catch running away from defenders to score told me all I needed to know about his attitude and mindset. He still has it athletically.

It may just be me, but I think those Chase and Jefferson fellows more than compensate for KB in league circles.

Can’t remember any LSU athlete that had a bigger fall over a couple years from how hyped he was to where he is now. Sad, had expected he was the next great receiver in the NFL from WRU

It’s his attitude that’s the reason his injury fricked him.

If he rehabs properly, listens to his coaches/trainers and actually gives a shite he probably doesn’t need a second surgery. It probably heals properly the first time allowing him to maintain all of the things that made him special.

But he didn’t do that. He was an immature prima-donna that thought he could get it all just because he was him.

Now he’s learning the hard way.

That’s exactly what it is. Coaches and GM’s do their homework. They know what the issues are and what they were at LSU.

If boutte thinks he’s gonna go through the motions with belichick that’s certainly not gonna help him make that roster

Not saying you’re wrong, but how do you actually know this? Can you expand more on what he did during his recovery and how you know the details?

“This isn’t LSU bullshite”

When was the last time the Patriots had a better receiver room than LSU? Legit question.
