Elias Ricks has already responded with, “Don’t even trip, ima handle that.”

Wondering if he could join the NFL now as a free agent. He has the time requirements checked off. Chiefs should look into the situation.

This just moves Flott back to nickel and Ricks as the day 1 starter outside.
I'm not so sure Ricks will be starting on the outside on day 1. The staff love Radar and his size and also Ward as well. Some reports said the injury slowed Ricks a little bit, but also said he may need to bulk up a little bit so he wouldn't get bullied by bigger receivers. Kind of like they did with Radar's RS year.

Just a thought.

You could be right, but the chatter has been about Ricks and Flott for the side opposite Stingley, so I assumed he was next in line. I think all of the young corners will play a lot outside of Mcglothern until 1 or 2 entrench themselves.

He knows this season is one bad move from being cancelled at any time.

What’s the point of risking injury when you are a senior and have very little to play for?
Correct. Now apply that same logic to a hypothetical "spring season". No elite players would ever be stupid enough to play in April.

I take this as basically him saying "there isn't going to be a fall season".

Coming in HOT!

How does that have anything to do with the phrasing given the situation?

Don’t get this decision unless there is an underlying issue we don’t know about. Anyways, good luck to the young man. I hope it works out for him.

This only makes sense if there was going to be a spring season.

I definitely See playing in the spring being an issue for draft hopefuls. (And kids returning for hopefully fall 2021)

Kary Vincent
Thank you, Kary, and good luck.

I will forever bear a chip on my shoulder on your behalf for that vicious, post-play, blindside hit you took @ Bama this year from that white trash piece of shite. (If anyone has the GIF of said play, please provide it.)

This makes no sense in August when there are so many unknowns.
And the decision doesn't seem wise for Vincent, personally, if football is played this fall.

Yeah it seems pretty premature.

Honestly, I feel like you’d have an advantage playing In the fall and then preparing Ca just peeping for the Combine.

He’s kinda making an assumption he’ll be invited.

Vincent made a bad move here. His choice but he is not a cover corner nor a big time safety. He may be a second day pick in the draft due only to his speed. Good luck to him but I don't think it was a good move.

Smart move. Vincent understands that no games will actually be played and he's not gonna spin his wheels

For next year's draft? So just take the whole season off and hang at home or something?
