KU told the NCAA to kick rocks and protected their coach. Then won another natty. Meanwhile, Fat Scotty kowtowed to the NCAA and we're at the lowest point in program history.

Kansas can do that because they are only trying to protect basketball. They have nothing else to lose

LSU has to protect football and the NCAA has leverage because of that

In 5 seasons under Will Wade, LSU averaged 2.4 home losses per year (12 total); 2 per year not counting his 1st year.

Not counting the NIT game; I think McMahon is at 6 home losses per year (24 home losses with 4 home games to go) in his 4th season.

In this era it is highly unlikely that LSU will ever be consistently great at basketball.

They are just going to spend too much on Football and baseball to make that level of investment in basketball

Can you uninformed morons stop with this nonsense please?

One, basketball has multiple big money donors that give to ONLY basketball and two, we have plenty of money for all sports even if that wasn’t the case which it is.
Get a good coach and the money will flow.

Kansas doesn't fire their coach over NCAA investigations
That was the entire point the OP was trying to make. (Not that LSU and Kansas are on equal footing)

You're right, LSU is an INFINITELY BIGGER brand than Kansas.

A good coach that doesn't cheat. You'll find a 3 headed dog before you discover one of those, homie.

Just comparing the HOME COURT advantage. Kansas is not great on the road over the past 23 seasons but good enough to go dancing EVERY single year! WW2 would make that happen for our Tigers! Look what he is doing currently at NCState. They got beat up yesterday but they are top 20 team.

BTW: I have a kid that graduated from LSU and is doing some faith-based work at the University of Kansas. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK. What's LSU got? That's pretty cool but the football team needs an upgrade. LOL
Geaux Tigers!

I think that pretty much sums up my argument. They are not even competitive at HOME. You start winning at home and you can fill up the arena. JUST WIN BABY! Bring me back some Al Davis... the Raiddders!
