This is Kanell. Not sure why you’re surprised he took this stance. He’s an ACC guy just like you’re an SEC guy.
He’s made some solid points in the past about the SEC being top heavy dragging the bottom tier schools along with them and he’s right about that.
But LSU has 2 top ten wins. Once they beat Auburn, they’ll have the resume not many teams across the country will have. I understand his beef. I get it. I’m not going to call him out on it.

Kanell is going to find the story that people agree on the most and he is going to oppose it. He is intentionally contrarian to get attention. This is what he has always done and what he will always do. Maybe he thinks he will be the next Skip Bayless.

Exactly. These polls serve no purpose anymore except to provide fodder for discussions around the water cooler and for the networks to hype upcoming games. They're meaningless. So Kanell needs to unwad his knickers and he also needs to understand that Bowden ain't coaching FSU anymore.
