He’s probably a little heavier because offseason just ended. He’ll lose 10 lbs of water weight in 2 weeks once the season kicks off and he’s out on Skip Bertman Dr in 100 degree heat and 95% humidity. This is a non issue

The S&C guys monitor these guys daily. I doubt he put it on without their guidance.

He was around 225-228lbs at the spring game. I don’t see him coming in at 250-260 lbs

And Hill, Hilliard, Hester, Scott, ware,

They all get about that heavy for sec play. Those that go pro tend to lean up a little there

Hmm, I don’t think I could catch him. And at 235 #, I would let him go……quickly.

No way it is 30lbs just muscle. Mixture of good and bad weight. Anyone else concerned we put too much weight on him? I was worried about this becoming kenny hilliard 2.0

Kaleb Jackson came off a season ending injury and within half a year ran a 10.61 (personal best), at 215. He played last year around 225 and you saw his speed. He couldn't be lighter than 225 when he bust that big TD for a score in the spring game. Im okay with trading that 10.61 for a 10.81 at 230. Im sure his playing weight will be around 225-230. He's going to be a monster.

I’ve never seen a place that knows more about anything than Tigerdroppings.

You ever wore football pads in August?

That guy can swing 5 lbs in an afternoon sweat.

He was listed at 200 as a high school recruit, listed at 225 on last years roster and 235 on this year's roster. So 10 pounds in a year if you want to believe roster weights.

This is all much more plausible, because the dude was huge last season. Was one of the most physically impressive players on the team.

With that said, these weights and heights are comical. I quit paying attention to them after Danny Etling grew 2 inches to 6’3 then shrunk back to 6’ the next season.

But that's always the case. If he weighed in at 225 last year, he also could swing 5 lbs of water during a workout.

Kaleb Jackson's biggest trait is his elite burst. If he loses any of that burst due to his weight, we will be talking about this all year. I can't say that he will lose it. But, I can say that last year he had it and at no point did I think he wasn't big enough. And, there is definitely a weight that will impact his burst.

235 starts to remind of Kenny Hilliard. Just a pound it RB for short yardage, seeks out contact and barrels over guys but doesn't make the break away play.

I was just curious what the overall opinion was. Didn’t mean to trigger anyone. Thanks for the downvotes. Personal best!

That's alright, with this offensive line and big back Kaleb toting the rock, just pull that "get tf out the way" horn and plow them bitches over. East Bound & Down Baby!
