Meh, the NFL is full of thugs and degenerates. They may still take him anyway. You never know.

I get that people here might be piling on, but why are you so hellbent on defending KL?

And not one person is surprised.

Yeah this not going stand as negligent homicide… leaving the scene is a terrible look… but this more like felony reckless endangerment
“Reckless endangerment is a crime that can be charged as a felony when it creates a significant risk of injury or death to another person. The severity of the offense and the resulting harm determine misdemeanor or felony”

Yeah, and Henry Ruggs only got 3-10 years in prison. I wish people like Lacy and Ruggs would go to prison for life, but sadly our lives aren't worth much on the road. I bet he's out soon and probably plays in the NFL at some point if he's good enough

Sad. I live right there and when it happened, was confused how an accident right there could be fatal. Speed limit is like 35 and you can't pass, plus most of the time people are turning off and on the highway which causes you to slow down. Of course that is only for people that drive responsibly.
I live near the scene too. It’s definitely not an area anyone should be passing. It’s a very small community and that area is right by a church with a few businesses on either side. Constantly people turning on and off right there.
I heard a week or so ago that they knew who the person was that caused it but were attempting to get their ducks in a row before releasing it. Crazy.

If he was a bonafide 1st rounder maybe. But he isn't even that good. And he's stupid.

Not defending him but I don’t think he deserves the shite he’s getting. I made mistakes at 20 years old too, albeit not mistakes like this but life happens fast, who am I to judge and write this kid off?

My guess would be someone had a dashcam at the scene and caught the license plate and gave the video to the cops
If they had a license plate number, then WHY did it take over THREE WEEKS to file charges?
If my plates were involved in some crime, they’d be in my driveway within hours, not days or weeks, right?

It makes me really angry that you can cause the death of someone and go on to have a career making tens of millions.
If there is Justice in this world, kyren never plays a down in the pros.
It’s very disturbing that there are a handful of posters in this thread hinting that they think kyren should be shown mercy

He caused a massive wreck and didn't stop to help or take responsibility.. He's a piece of shite and deserves all the hate.
It'd be one thing if he took responsibility but he ran like a little bitch.

Oh if I'm the judge I'm sentencing him to report to prison five years. Why?
