If Megatron wouldn’t have retired and instead chased the dinero, with a decent QB, then who knows what his numbers would be. Even saying that, Rice and Moss are the GOATS at the position. IMHO

Wrong

Terrell Owens was just as dominant as Calvin Johnson.

Numbers first 10 years are almost equal.
That is with TO being the 2nd option to Jerry Rice in 90's.

Megatron was usually the only option and got all the balls thrown to him.
TO had to play 2nd fiddle to the GOAT and still almost exactly matches Megatron #'s first 10 years.

What’s hilarious is Jalen Reager was drafted one spot ahead of him to Philly and was traded to Minnesota and now is mainly a punt returner. Even though they are good at receiver, You know Philly probably regretted that decision.

Jefferson at some point next season could be some 15 yds clear of the next best receiver in NFL history in regards to receiving yards per game (101 vs 86).

Jefferson is great, but you are making an apples to oranges comparison of his salad days to the average days of the historical greats.

Of all of the incredible Justin Jefferson facts that one really stands out. The Eagle’s pick was a head scratcher. Almost as bad as the NBA draft in the mid 80s when Portland passed on MJ.

Look at the guys carreer stats. In 10 years he has 36,710 yards 250 TDs 102 INT and a 98.0 passer rating. Hell he is ranked #8 in career passer rating of all time with a minimum of 1500 attempts. As soon as he wins a Superbowl everyone will look at him as a Hall of Famer.

He's in Jerry Rice territory if he can sustain.

That’s been said about several guys, but Rice had a 20+ year career and didn’t really start fading until like Year 18 or so. Dude was dedicated to maintaining that longevity through his off-season program.

Jets has the potential, but a career like Rice takes dedication and a whole lot of luck. Rice played 17 complete seasons with no games missed and that was when safeties could play headhunter. That’s almost impossible.

Still needs to play so they can beat out 49ers for second seed and first round bye.

Much better than playing with Andy Dalton

All I see from Dalton is darts. His WR's refuse to catch the ball as often as catch it.

JJ has the most 100 yard receiving games for a player in his first 4 years in the league.

He has yet to finish his 3rd year. That's incredible.

Okay 9.

TO had 1,095 targets. With 95 TD in 9 years

Calvin Johnson had 1,300 plus in 9 years with 83 TD

Kirk Cousins has always had absolute dogs at receiver and a pass friendly offense. I love the stats, but if he doesn’t win something of significance soon, he’ll continue to be questioned
