That dance doesn’t look nearly as cool in gym clothes as it does in pads good on Jets for getting the bag

It is amazing how athletes at this level across all sports can be so under appreciated/ rated.

Bonafide LSU legend. We will be talking about his game against OU decades from now.

apparently he was a grade risk that everyone thought was all LSU, so no one offered.
He only needed one class though and took it over the summer, and apparently was 100% LSU and would have listened to other offers.
But since no one was offering the recruiting services sorta assumed it was because no one was interested. So they ignored him. It’s crazy when we say oh he was a 0 or a 3 star, we sorta imply he was under estimated. Really they didn’t estimate him at all.

To the Jeffersons, thank you for standing by your sons on their decisions to choose LSU. They all played very big roles in putting our program back on the map.

I have said before and I’ll say it again, the Jefferson family have more purple and gold blood than any of us.
I don’t think anyone would blame them for going any where but LSU after how shitty LSU fans were to Jordan.
It’s a shame because in hindsight, it was really the system that ruined Jefferson, Jennings and Harris.

LSU Fans love pulling for an underdog and this guy is one of the biggest long shots in LSU history. I will be a fan of his for life (or until he does something stupid).
Have to say, I do respect he and his family's commitment to LSU after the disrespect given to Jordan, which probably should have been directed at Les Miles, not him.

in 5years, Jefferson is going to be a -1 star. The tall tale keeps stretching

quote:In fairness, OP specified ESPN recruit. ESPN highlighted it during their draft coverage. Now, it is definitely more of an indictment of ESPN's shitty recruiting coverage, but Jefferson was factually a 0 star recruit on ESPN.

He was a 0.7982, 3-star, 308th ranked WR on the 247sports Composite Still an impressive rise.
