Arkansas had 5 pts at the midway point of the 4th quarter…
Trap game or not, we should win easily.

this is not a trap game.

UAB is next week.

ARKANSAS is a classic potential let down game.

This Saturday will demonstrate to fans and coaches how far along the ALINGEMENT HAS OCCURRED.

Arkansas is capable of playing better, and Liberty is a good team.

Both true.

What I saw in that R-Kansas v. Liberty game was AR OL getting eat up. Not all 5 at a time but seems like almost every play one of them failed blowing the play up.

I'm attributing that to, primarily, Liberty confusing their line calls and they did a lot of twists. I'm sure this staff saw that and we'll do the same but with our LBs.

However, AR OL usually doesn't play that bad and they do have some hosses. So this issue is correctable.

To me it doesn't matter what QB they play... or necessarily on what Perkins [alone] does. It will come down to what House does to confuse the QB's eyes and Stromberg's calls.

In 1997, after we beat #1 Florida Gators, who had dominated the entire sport for years, we lost the next week to unranked Ole Miss.

Florida watched the LSU v Tennessee game. They weren't worried about LSU. Arkansas saw A&M lose to App. St. They weren't worried about A&M.

LSU hasn't been dominant for a full game against a power 5 opponent all season. So while I am confident LSU can win, I don't think winning can ever be a foregone conclusion with this team...especially on the road (at least against SEC opponents)

Yeah, that and the same start time as the TN game in 37* weather after the biggest home win in 12 years

People are just plain born suckers, even when reminded

Whoa are you really putting Tennessee and Arkansas in the same conversation. It's a trap game sure, you and I and normal folks like us will 100% take our focus off and lose this game.

However CBK is expected to have the team ready and focused.

LSU cannot lose this dang game. In a way it is more of a test of Kelly's coaching ability than was the gump game.

Not so sure about "easily".
But I will point out that the vaunted Alabama offense didn't get across the goal line until 12:37 of the 4th quarter.

I watched the highlights on Youtube....the Safety play from Arkansas was terrible....Liberty's tackling was crap as well..

LSU should win well....as a 3 point home dog that is vegas thinking that LSU is 6 points better than Arkansas on a neutral field. I believe that is a tad shy. neutral site LSU would likely be a 10-12point favorite in reality.

LSU simply caught Tenn too soon. Based on the Alabama game, the players have bought in to Kelly. In a rematch with Tenn, I'd take LSU all day.

Can't really give an answer on last week except Freeze probably gets a better job at seasons end. Arkansas shouldn't have lost that game, or to A&M.

Something was wrong with KJ but they never really clearly said.

LSU wins this one.

And as a favor, please beat the dog shite out of Jimbo.
