LSU is in serious trouble.

I agree but it has nothing to do with anything that happened in this game.

Mcneese had pressure on LSU. There wasn’t a clean inning tonight.

And how’d they do?

This team seems tired. Gave it their all for a few months and look out of gas except for a few guys

Nah I think it’s the bullpen. I think some of them know deep down they suck and don’t have enough to get there and they have started to press. There is only two ways this team makes it out of supers. The bullpen nuts up or Crews comes alive and gets out of his slump allowing them to out slug someone in the 2nd or third game. Crews is the key to this whole thing.

So, you didn't like the 4 pitch walk with 2 outs in the 9th to load the bases?

I like the 2 ks with 0 outs and 2 on when Guidry came in though

My favorite is that we took a 3 run lead to the 9th and couldn’t get out of it before putting the tying run on base.

Yeah, that was fun.

It seems like a mental collapse has evolved into a physical collapse... something is definitely going on that we fans don't know about! Something is going on behind the scenes that has not been made public. And it's "not just baseball"!

Hurd, Guidry and Herring needed the work. And most of the game was pitched by Money and Dutton

I think it boils down to the bullpen and the team is pressing trying to pick up the slack simple as that. Crews in a slump is not helping. They will be fine offensively especially if Crews gets back going again. The bullpen is what it is and we are running out of time for the 2-3 pitchers to step up.

SPOT ON! I lost track of how many routine grounders turned into singles due to infielders over-shifting....especially on Dugas' side. Cmon coaches don't over think this game. The 4 E's will cost you in most games. Fortunately the pitching didn't implode and we scratched enought runs to get the W.
Gotta play cleaner, smarter baseball.

I mean, bullpen arms can throw mid week and weekends so…

Because people love LSU baseball , and don't like it when we suck. This team is uber talented but it's obvious they are regressing as the season goes on. Jay Johnson seems like a really good Offensive guy but so far his pitching coaches suck, and through an entire season his defenses are pretty bad.

We will never win a championship with only great hitting.
