Just threw our “best” from the bullpen

In a midweek game where LSU committed 4 errors, missed pop ups, couldn’t execute bunts, got a runner thrown out at home, left runners stranded from poor plate discipline, and did not have 1 clean inning when pitching.
LSU is in serious trouble.

My favorite is that we took a 3 run lead to the 9th and couldn’t get out of it before putting the tying run on base.

The glass half empty view is that with our offensive and bullpen woes, we now have defensive issues too. Looks like this team is wilting under pressure.

I know it’s shite on the team time here on the rant, but you have to try to get some of those guys back on track in a game like this so they can flush the abysmal performance last weekend. We saw positives tonight out of Money, Herring, Dutton, Guidry, and Hurd.

We don’t have any “best” bull pen arms at the moment other than Coleman. The whole pen needs reps to get some consistency.

Right, which is why “best” is in quotations. But I’d rather see Herring, Guidry, and Hurd get some innings to try to find something than Cooper and Little.

So, you didn't like the 4 pitch walk with 2 outs in the 9th to load the bases?
