Recruiting is not hard to find. There are more capable recruiters than jobs for them. You only worry when
a coach doesn't feel that recruiting should be a priority, he thinks his X's and O's will win the day.

Freeman would be nice but BK has proven he can find good DCs.

Freeman has been there one year, correct? ND has like 5 successive great recruiting classes........ What am I missing?
My apologies for the downvote. I fat thumbed it. I’ve never apologized for a fat thumb but your comment is too spot on to believe that someone would be retarded enough to downvote it.

ND averaged 12.4 before Freeman. ND is 4 with Freeman.

I don't know if it's Freeman or not, but that's a significant difference. Rational LSU fans are not happy if LSU had an average of 12.4 over five years. Rational LSU fans are much happier if LSU is #4.

Their ranking will drop as several teams below them fill in their spots. ND has almost filled their class already. It is to early to tell where they will end up. Probably closer to 10.

Notre Dame insider disparages former coach by saying the guy responsible for his success is still there. The guy who’s been there less than 2 years.

Seems legit.

This is truth. This is one reason why we want Freeman. So many of you cut of your noses to spite your face. He could help .

Fickell is not going to take the ND job while his current team is in the CFP

ND is not going to hire a 35 year old minority with no HC experience.

OU, Ohio St., and Clemson each have 16 or less commits currently. They'll probably finish ahead of ND once the smoke clears. ND has 1 5* recruit currently signed. Don't be surprised if they lose a few recruits with BK leaving. LSU will also probably land some new recruits as well. Hell, we may finish ahead of ND as well. Freeman is no doubt a large part of ND's recruiting success with their upcoming class. However, BK had built programs and a reputation long before hiring MF as his DC. LSU will be just fine whether MF is persuaded to join the staff or choose to stay at ND.

I love the BK hire but Freeman was crushing it at recruiting moreso than anyone at ND in a while. He’s a pretty elite recruiter.

Go on twitter and read what every recruit is saying.

Freeman is a very good coach and recruiter. He has helped pick up their recruiting.
