It would be nice to see empty seats in a brand new shiny building.

I spoke to someone at TAF. They are in the feasibility study right now for renovation or build new. The location is perfect. He did not mention what would happen if they tore down and built new. He did say that they do not want to build on the vacant land by the river due to potential construction delays from the river being high, and risk.
I asked what if you tore down the original arena and built it there. He looked at me like I had snakes coming out of my eyesockets.
I was given courtside seats due to the tiger perks program. After the experience, I can now say that I totally understand why the arena situation needs to be addressed.

Build a new Arena on/near campus kind of like they did with Alex Box, then tear down the PMAC turn it into another building or parking.

nothing wrong with the Pmac and no need to build a new stadium just for a bunch of rich dudes to have suites.

Tearing down or remodeling the PMAC sounds like a logistical nightmare. But would be awesome.

Build track and field brand new facilities near tennis and the box and then build brand new stadium at Nicholson, N Stadium. When it opens, you blow up PMAC and make it into a “championship plaza”.

Couldn’t they play in the river center? I hope wade is here when we tear down the pmac.

Wouldn’t mind having a venue that could host concerts and other events so the university could generate revenue outside of athletics.

This is pretty much exactly the idea I had. Nicholson and N. Stadium would be a good location and a nice looking facility would be an attractive anchor for that corner. Demo the existing PMAC and you’d have a nice plaza directly on axis with the Stadium, and you’d probably be able to access the new arena from the same plaza
