Because he was all about the running threat. Can't live on that here. Hayden was a 10x better passer than Juan.
And hes short as hell. Wildcat? Sure

He’s 6 feet tall and all of that yardage came at lower level football. I like the kid and hope he’s happy here…he’s not a college QB

Watched him absolutely tear up a 5A Defense. Best playmaker we saw on any team all year and that included Karr.

I don’t understand why we didn’t develop a JJ package inside the red zone or for short yardage, especially with the injury and limitations of Nuss running.

If you saw him play against Arch Manning in HS, he was definitely the best QB on the field that night.

With Nuss being hurt all year, it's been forever since we've seen solid QB play. Give JJ a chance. You never know, especially given Lane's offense & coaching.

Well, might not be a bad idea to see him start the Bowl Game

That might make BK look even more stupid.

BK let his starting QB start the season with an injury with apparently no backup plan to get another QB option ready in case Nuss struggled.

Tell Lane you want some spring snaps at QB. Johnson isn't a run only option, he’s actually got a good arm. If Lane got the most out of Jalen Hurts and Blake Sims I think he can make a QB out of Ju’Juan Johnson.

He certainly is not scared to be hit or deliver a hit. Let's see if he can read a D or throw accurately.

We all criticized, BK and Sloan about the offense. After saying both Nussmeier and MVB, I don’t know if anybody could’ve made those guys successful. If BK thought JJ was good he would have played him as QB.

Rather him play QB than RB. I wasn't a fan of him taking plays away from Durham or Berry anyway....

I agree with Mr Johnson.

Nuss got a million shots at it.
MVB got a fair shot at.

Why not let the greatest statistical QB in Louisiana’s history have a fair shot at it?
