About what?

Threads comparing QB’s typically devolve into mindless mudslinging.

Not surprising. Most revealing thing BK said after the spring game was regarding Brennan and he said Myles takes care of the ball. Most coaches view that as paramount in a QB.

So, what we’re really saying is that MB, on campus since 2017, can’t separate himself from two guys who have played in a grand total of four games for LSU. My only take away from that is that the other two guys must have played damn good or MB must have been so-so.

He's on the money... I just dont think its as close between Brennan and Nuss... Brennan is a veteran... Kelly wants a good season, he will go with the accurate veteran. Nuss Beats out Jayden next year. Jayden MAY transfer next year..

Still think Myles gets the start to open the season before seeing Nussmeier finish the season.

Brennan is a 60% passer. That isn’t terribly accurate for college football

So we've got two veterans and a guy who showed a lot of promise that has improved enough to compete with said veterans and you're taking that as a bad thing?

Also games played at LSU is irrelevant considering this is an entirely new coaching staff and Myles has been through like 4 different offensives coordinators since he's been here.

It’ll be an interesting fall.

I do think it ends up being MB or Nuss. But I’m also pretty sure there will be an RPO package specific to Daniels to take advantage of his legs and the mismatch that creates.

I also wonder if Nuss starting is ultimately best for the QB room of the future. If Nuss starts and plays well, he’s out in 2 seasons with Howard on deck. If you believe the recruiting gurus, Kelly will pull top talent at the QB spot, so I think that scenario really builds a very healthy QB room 4-5 years down the road.

All that said, it’s really nice to be able to actually trust the coach to do what’s best for the team to win football games.

Think he was going for sarcasm, at least I hope he was

I read it like it was this statement instead:

I think you mean designed QB runs and/or zone read option plays. RPO doesn't mean the QB runs. It just means they make a decision to hand off or pass based on the reaction of their defensive key. Brennan could run an RPO.
