You've obviously never played football. If he's running 3rd team most of his reps are when they are practicing another teams defense to give the 1st team offense a look. It's really not that hard a have a fake miscommunication that leads to a scuffle. If a guy who's been a problem gets put in check that's all anyone will remember about the fight. It won't even matter how it started.

Heres the thing that you are missing:

1) if you set him up all you do is prove his mistrust in the people that are supposed to have his back. Now instead of him seeing that the team has his best interests in mind, you've proven to him that everyone is against him and wants him to fail.

2) He's already a problem so you don't need to set him up, you just let him frick up on his own and then have someone put him in his place.

My guess is he’s still learning how to play zone

You think they’re playing a zone on the 4th day of camp?

This is when you go 1 on 1 and 7 on 7 to see what you have

You’ve obviously never done much critical thinking or been a leader of young men. Credibility is everything and using deceit is a poor way to build camaraderie and teamwork.

Like BK said in regards to them fight, it is a leadership issue. Someone on LSU's defense needs to emerge as the vocal leader. With all these new faces and highly touted freshman, the team needs to identify themselves.

I think Greg Brooks is likely the vocal leader on defense along with Major Burns. Brooks has been hurt the last couple days. May not be a coincidence that the fight lasted as long as it did without him being there.

And if any player needs to talk to Harris it’s probably Brooks. He’s a 5th year Sr that’s in the DB room with Harris every day. And he’s been at another school and can speak to what an opportunity Harris has here at LSU. I’m sure he has some nice memories from Arkansas, but he never played in anything like the Bama game last year. Certainly not the SEC Championship Game. I’m not sure where Harris would wind up if he does eventually get kicked off the team, but it certainly won’t be anywhere where he has the opportunity to play in those type of environments.

That said, he may be the worst teammate out there or the best. I have no idea, and I’m not taking Jordy’s word for it. He got it from Tack who got it from? It may very well be true, but I just find it hard to believe that with all the access the media has had, not one person who’s been at practice has reported anything of the sort.

Wtf?

Although I guess it does explain why Kalunda kept dropping by your place to borrow rolls.

Pekins was reportedly held out of practice yesterday after the brawl. Not sure Perkins is exactly a role model, either.

Perk was outstanding on the field, handles his business in the classroom and hasn’t been in any trouble

shite rotten comparison

Harold Perkins was a big reason for that. Harold is the Patrick Peterson to Harris like Peterson was to Tyrann Mathieu when the Cardinals drafted him.

I see that The Rant has chosen the 2023 LSU whipping boy. Somewhere near Boston, Kayshon Boutte shrugs, runs a route and catches a ball.

Other than some with reasonable concerns, it’s mostly low IQ posters and trolls piling on, some even posting unsubstantiated bullshite or outright lies…so another day on The Rant.

Be cool and do your thing, Den. We behind you.

Jordy is great friends with Tack Minor who is Denver Harris’ step father. He said LSU hasn’t been practicing for a week and Denver Harris has been involved in 3 shoving incidents in practice.

On another note this sounds like one of those gotcha crap gossip stories that will get Jordy in the woodshed with CBK. May all be true but Kelly strikes me as the type that dont like loose cannons.

By acting out this way, he flaunts his God given gifts. That is a personal tragedy as well as the negative impact on his team.
