Probably because after Brady left it wasn't a priority to fire a guy who had just won the nation's best position group award for his unit at that point.
and 2020 wasn’t exactly a routine year.

The Ol regressed mightily this year.

They regressed, but you also lost a quarterback and a coordinator that could easily mask those deficiencies.

Once again it shows how Brady and other hands on coaches can evaluate actual coaching, and someone like O can only look from the outside at certain results

He literally hired Brady. With BP, I think it was lack of evaluation at all. Not attempted.

How did Brady's offense fare last season at Carolina?

Did Carolina have the No.1 draft pick at QB or four of the top 60 draft picks as weapons? Obviously there was going to be an immense drop off.

If that’s the case, maybe we should look for an OL coach who has crossed paths with Brady/Peetz.

He also literally hired Canada and Bo and Clegg and a host of other bad hires

I dont think its negative to say O doesnt evaluate the ins and outs of coaching very well. He admits that

To add to that he hired him on the recommendation of coach e.

O doesn't put much thought into shite.

I feel like coach e def persuaded him.

Since last year's season i believe he has had to put more thought into things.

O is an elite head coach and has hired brilliantly

Nobody and I mean NOBODY would argue that

O has hired:

Matt Canada, Bo Pelini, and Scott Linehan. How's that for brilliant, eh?

Extremely well given the personnel. Literally any panthers fan will tell you that Joe Brady was excellent last year. There's a reason why he's at the top of every list of young up-and-coming HC candidates.

Maybe Joe Burrow made Brady as well. How did Brady's offense fare last season at Carolina?

How did Joe Burrow do without Brady in the NFL?

Yea I'm aware how stupid that question is, and hopefully you see why I'm asking it.

That will have frick all to do with LSU's offense.

While they were 24th in total points, they were 17th in YPP, 16th in Scoring %, and 7th in TO %.

All of that with this starting nucleus:

QB1 - The Shell of Teddy Bridgewater that no one wants now
RB1 - Mike Davis
WR1 - Robby Anderson
WR2 - DJ Moore
WR3 - Curtis Samuel
TE1 - Ian Thomas

That is one of the worst offensive skill position groups in the league. Just awful. Let's see what he does with Darnold and McCaffrey this year.

By continuity do you mean hired a bunch of his buddies? Because that’s what he did and what he’s done anytime the pressure to win let’s up in the slightest.

We only changed 1 Offensive coach and it was a frick up, but not one of O’s buddies.

Honestly I have No idea how we ended up with Linehan, but the obvious hope was that E could keep the ship on course.

How can Joe Brady see that Cregg was garbage but Coach O never wanted to make the move to find a better online coach?

O doesn’t even interview these guys. You expect him to oversee their work and hold them accountable?!

He’s just trying to get his buddies paid.

The Joe Moore award had nothing to do with Cregg’s coaching. It was because of Burrow’s great pocket awareness and ability to use his legs combined with Brady’s quick passing game

This, and I'd also add Cushenberry being absolutely phenomenal that season.

The only claim you've made in this thread is
quote:

Without knowing much of what goes on behind the scenes, y’all motherfrickers sure do reach really hard to shite on O

In a thread that is asking a question about COach O's thought on a coach most people here found to be mediocre at best. This thread seems like a reasonable question that isn't just a "I don't like O so let's shite on him" type thread.

So I'd say you're wrong just in the way you entered the thread. Do you have something to actually add?
